Mr Rudess, I began watching this interview and had to stop @ 2:39 into the interview because I was taken aback in sadness. Answers to the initial question were, understandable in regard to various time scheduling conflicts as well as potential logistics. Those areas can offer various challenges within the scope of current economic conditions or responsibilities. What drove the most hurt (for myself at least) was the comment of, "filling out the right venue and having the right piano" (admittedly, loosely quoted by memory because of device abilities). And yet, if I may turn your attention to a concert gone horribly "wrong" and yet AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!! I would suggest that you take in the full version of, "The Klön Concert"! Make sure that you are familiar with the original plan and event, as well as the conditions made during the process of putting it all together! Afterwards... Please let me not hear or find those comments ever again. With Love and respect, Jeremy S Tinnin PS... I have the full album of the concert. It is A--FUCKING -MAZING!!!!!!

I love Mr Rudess. The galaxy best keyboardist IMO. And also a great nice guy. I know I can’t compare Rudess to God, I know he’s a good guy, but no way he’s better than Rudess. Cheers from Brazil, sir! Looking forward to next album!

It bothers me slightly that artists implicitly refuse to acknowledge the commercial aspect of performing and touring. Obviously it has to make financial sense for an event to be held. Sometimes it just isn't feasible to hold an event if a venue is too expensive and ticket sales are not good enough, not to mention the operating overhead of touring (accommodation, transport, support staff, equipment etc.). I have always wondered what the financial dynamics of Dream Theater record productions, shows and touring are. As a musician, you must certainly make a living (ideally a good living for the hard work) and i would love to find out exactly how 'providing' this is for all involved.... Keep up the good work guys! :)
