Looks like a redfish killer. I’ve never seen it done or tried it myself, but while watching this it struck me that it may be a good idea to fold the excess of the eyes back over instead of trimming them off to form a weed guard. I may try that next one I tie to see if it works

That's not a bad idea at all. I will just pull the eyes up and they can keep some stuff off. Kind of a side benefit
