speaking of seals...I was in Alaska a few years ago...stayed in an igloo with a family. the host family had a snowmobile that broke down. when we returned to the shop to pick it up....the mechanic said looks like you blew a seal...Mr. took out his handkerchief and wiped his mouth...Nope tartar sauce...how much is the damage. and thats how you get a discount at a snowmobile mechanic....

Sportrx birdie tint is the best mtb glasses tint. At least for people who ride in forests. Really cuts down the hotspots and handles transitioning from nigh bright to fall well and works ok in the brightest conditions

It would be interesting to know how a 26/24" mullet setup would feel on your boostmonster (like the old school specialized bighit). It could potentially bring down the center of gravity and increase the rake angle so it doesn't feel like you are leaning over the front hub as much.

Maybe try 26x3.00 rear and 27.5 normal width front on your boostmonster? That should give you the cushiony tire feel and effectively slacken the head tube angle a little.

I just can't fit a 3" tire in the rear of that frame, that's the issue!

@@JordanBoostmaster I'd suggest getting into fabrication to modify the chainstays and such, but most people assume it's too daunting. Then again, if you're paying a suspension guy to modify your fork internals, perhaps you can find a fab guy to make you a custom rear that'll fit 3" tires. That aside, if you can fit a 2.8 rear, supposedly 26x2.8 also do the same thing as 26x3.0 in having an overall height closer to 27.5 but not quite matching.
