The star in this show is Donna and her team that put these videos together. You make patterns that would be very difficult to understand, easier to attempt by sharing your many years of experience. Thank you so much for making videos. It's unbelievable how generous you are giving, your work to your audience. You are definitely the most generous people on KZbin that I have seen. ❤

“This is close enough for me.” “My sewing is never perfect.”These are the most encouraging words from Donna!! At first blush I would never attempt this project, but as usual, Donna breaks the whole process into more manageable pieces. It’s still a bit daunting but I love the finished quilt!

Thank you Donna. I would never have tried any version of a lone star quilt. My sewing is not as accurate as it used to be and the pattern was always intimidating to me. You make patterns look so easy and you are such a great teacher, I will try a scrappy version. Maybe a throw size or baby quilt to try your pattern. I have boxes of strip scraps. Thank you for the encouragement and a beautiful pattern.

Same here. I made a large Lone Star quilt from Donna's previous pattern and stressed about the seams matching up. Ugh. It had a dark blue grunge background which made the star pop. I gave it to my brother in Texas and he loved it, so I guess it was worth it.
