@Elemenohpea440
@Elemenohpea440 3 жыл бұрын
@Nenethegreat W yes, because no parent should ever, under any circumstances, enjoy a ski trip away from their children, ever. All parents must stay home 24/7 and never ever hire trusted adults to care for their children. It’s an abomination! All parents, no matter their resources, need to be stressed 24/7, thus says random internet judgey pants.

I think some of you are missing the point - this person is not shading her for having a nanny. She’s complimenting her for being honest about needing a little help from time to time (which we of course all do!) Maybe a parent struggling with 3-4 kids sees JP with her 8 managing it like a champ and begins to doubt themselves. Instead now, they see that Jordan is not perfect (which she has never claimed to be!) and that it’s ok if you need help.

@@meg2726 Thank you!!!! I needed to see this comment. I have four children and no nanny. Running a business while managing all of them which they are only one year apart makes me feel like omg I suck sometimes so yes you are right! I see a lot of people commenting their worries about you. But you are my mom, she was able to plow through her day the way you do because there is literally so much LOVE and JOY all over the place that it fuels you, despite lack of sleep, no time to eat, etc. It’s not easy at all. After taking a zillion workshops on parenting I can see this is called Authoritive /Attachment parenting style . It's high warmth + high control and so many studies have shown the results are healthy , confident , responsible , resilient, self motivated children growing into adults who don't follow crowd give into peer pressure . Kids from Authoritive / strong attachment to parents don't fall into self harming /attention seeking behaviours of substance abuse or addictive habits . Children from this parenting style Excell in school and programs. No parent is perfect but high control , warmth and attachment / engaged is something to strive for ..

Ok, girl, that hardest part of this video was watching you chug the celery juice! 😆 🤢 I can’t get green juice down! 😂 Phew! I’m tired, after watching your day! 😂 Didn’t know you had another puppy! So cute! Love watching your DITL vids and seeing the love coming from your family! Your older kids being so loving to the little ones just shows how much love you and Bubba give to your family. 🥰 God bless you guys! 💕

Hi, I recently watched a video by Abby Sharp, a certified dietitian and she said celery juice doesn't contain any significant nutrients that you cannot get from a balanced diet. Feel free to do more research, but you reaaaallly don't have to drink celery juice if you hate it! Don't torture yourself girl!🧡

Depending on her health issues, it could be important for cleaning the liver. I personally had great experience with celery juice. It really helped my gut health. Walmart celery makes the WORST tasting juice. She may just need to shop around.

It was nice to see you reference that you have a nanny. I know that it definitely makes me feel bad that following your methods I still struggle with keeping up with only two kids, it makes things seem a bit more attainable to see that you're not always juggling all 8 kids all the time.

I think it’s good to outsource things whenever you can on things that you don’t necessarily enjoy and if you have room in your budget. Even if you don’t have room in your budget, you can make it a priority. I know lots of people think Jordan advocates doing EVERYTHING yourself and people are surprised that she does get help. But honestly I think she advocates prioritizing your time and energy on things that matter to you. You should be productive so you have MORE time and money for people and things you love, not so you can do everything. ❤️

Ps: mix the celery juice with apple juice, that tastes much better. Or eat celery sticks with hummus / that’s actually kind of delicious and you get all the good ingredients that are not in the fluids but in the fiber

Nutritionists I’ve spoken to about celery juice say it has no scientific proof it does anything. If you don’t like it, don’t punish yourself. Unless of course your doctor suggested it for your personal health benefit.

Healthier to just eat celery. There is no research to suggest it is particularly good for you and juicing it actually takes out a lot of the fibre content.

@@schill2002 Wow! How do they expect kids to function for learning at 7 or 8am when most parents don’t even start work till 9am and are still groggy after their morning coffee?! Blows my mind. Not to mean took getting your kids to school early and then do you just sit around for 2 hours before you start work? (assuming you start work at 9).

@@victoriamather2267 Where are you that work doesn’t start till 9?? Most jobs in the US start at 8 and end at 5 with an hour off for lunch. Most schools start around 8 as well - anywhere from 7:30 - 8:30. When I was a kid, our buses did double duty - one run for junior and senior high and one run for elementary grades. So the jr/sr high kids were picked up super early (I was picked up at 7:00) and we were dropped off at about 7:40-7:45 for an 8:00 start time. Then the drivers circled back and picked up the elementary kids for their 9:00 start time. I’m the afternoon, it was reversed with the elementary kids’ day ending at 2:30 and the jr/sr high kids’ day ending at 3:30. By the time the bus was loaded and I got home, it was just after 4.

@@Lucinda_Jackson I’m in Canada where the majority of people work the ol’ 9-5. Wow, that sounds hectic. School is usually 9-3:20. I get up at 7 for 2 hours of getting ready/kids to school and the rest. That amazes me that kids are that alert that early.
