I don't care what crime statistics say as those can be easily manipulated in a variety of ways. In my neighborhood crime has skyrocketed. Many of us have had our cars broken into, stuff stolen out our backyards, witnessed open drug use and have seen a rise in homelessness and general disorder. We are living in a society without hope, without consequence and without shame. I am a union worker who will be voting for Poilievre because, despite his flaws, I believe he has a greater understanding of the economic and social perils we are facing right now.
@perhaps5652 күн бұрын
I agree with you! What does it mean when the crime statistics are fudged? What does it mean when we clearly have 2 tier policing (right here in Canada)? When you mask and carry the correct flag, you can block traffic without apprehension. You can set up encampments, without apprehension. Thousands of vehicles were stolen in Ontario and the police said, protect yourself by giving 'em access to your keys. I wonder if all those thefts were included in the statistics? Is it still a crime to steal in Ontario?

At 08:15... I personally knew of a Syrian family that escaped their homeland at the very beginning of the Russian-sponsored civil war. They came to Canada and opened a restaurant, which I was how I got to know them. Their biggest complaint wasn't the language, or the weather, or any sense of being discriminated against, or anything of the sort. They eventually left (to South Africa, I believe) because - you can't make this up - getting *anything done* in Canada requires mountains of paperwork and running a gauntlet of administrators and bureaucrats. They were promised freedom and autonomy, and found that there was always someone else who decided what they could and could not do. They closed their business - a thriving restaurant - and left in disgust

Hi Lovey.. I'm a proud Canadian living stateside in California since 03 (legally and became a citizen in June 2024). We've been under the same fascist Marxist tyranny as Canada. Me being in California the governor Gavin newsome is the identical to Trudeau. I used to live in the silicon bay area and I owned a lucrative business until 2015. I was under my ex husband's insurance through his county employer. It was doable with paying co-pays. Most insurance you pay by month and STILL have to pay a co-pay.. $5,$20,$+. I'm now incapacitated bc of a 9 month coma in '17 and then radiation therapy for cancer '18/'19 & headed into major spine surgery to have rods, screws and cement correcting the severe curve I've acquired. This puts me squarely at the mercy of the government now at the age of 62😠 No attempt at avoiding this has prevailed. I would gladly opt to cover my own cost of living, including health insurance but here we are. I am totally covered for physicians, hospital, ambulance, mental health, prescriptions, transportation to and from medical visits, et al. I have applied for and waiting for disability coverage. I had a friend who had disability and was a pensioner. This Obama care health coverage is nothing but a rues ! Her & her husband were living on extremely low income and yet, somehow, still were billed an extra $900. a month! I became friends with some nurses along the way (go figger eh😂) and they were paying upwards of $500. a month😠.. Plus copay. Big pharma rules the roost here in the states. I'm not clear on this but I believe that it's mandatory to have health insurance although many are deciding not to get it and pay the full amount as needed. This, of course, wouldn't be a viable choice for me. Now that Trump is taking charge he's not going to be under the thumb of these insurance company lobbyists. RFK. Jr is going to dismantle the fraudulent business dealings in insurance companies and big pharma. I've gone to the hospital emergency room and sat along the wall along with everyone else there waiting. They line you up along the walls having run out of seats in the waiting room. You sometimes have to sit there for a day before being admitted to a bed. Being seen by a Dr can take a month AND to have any procedure done or specialist seen you must have to first wait for an approval letter from the insurance company😠That's a week or two. Back in Canada I had no issues with wait times although everyone I know has claimed this to be so. The cost of living is so high in Canada that adding insurance to it would devestate you all. I'm hoping Trump will find a solution. I guess to sum it all up I'd say you pay for insurance through all the taxation. Would you rather it once a month or enveloped in cost of living? Also.. Many go to Mexico for prescription medications and/or medical care/procedures, et al. For the average Joe here insurance and medication is extremely expensive. If Pierre can take notes from trump and the dream team he'll get Canada back on track and the powers that be here are greatly concerned for Canada and although there's kibitzing (spelling?) going on from here, trump mostly, it's really just directed at Trudeau. The powers that be like Elon, Joe Rogan, Charlie kirk, tucker carlson have taken a great interest in protecting Canada and Canadians, Canadiens. We couldn't or wouldn't protect ourselves the last few years and are now empowered and plan to use it with every cell of every body of every american patriot. We need to take out the trash, as you do. Canada has been prey to the radical Islam Trojan horses. Of all the bloody problems to have this, imho, is the top of the food chain. You WILL NOT have a country left if and until they are all removed. All of them. Here we're past racism, past wrongful prejudism. Look at UK.. GERMANY😢 I think every country has a trump and Canada's is Pierre ❤💪🇨🇦🇺🇸🙏I'll write more of this in a comment.. This reply is long enough😂

I’m 500k in the hole to the government because they keep adding late fees penalties and interest to a ballooning debt. I’ve been poor and punished for it my entire life. I don’t trust our government or any other potential incumbent parties. Far as I’m concerned nothing they say means anything to me except empty promises and useless excuses.
