I have been a Fender amp player for 57+ years ... I always wondered why techs did not naturally look on down the circuit for problems. If a part fails, does it not seem logical that more down the line will catch that failure and fail as well? Maybe I am just one who knows a little, which can be dangerous, I guess ... BTW: Can you repair hearing systems to rid tinnitus?

BTW, those phase inverter resistor values are correct, the schematic is incorrect. The AB763 schematic you are using is the early one, which was later corrected. The tip off is the two 100k plate resistors on the phase inverter, they should read 100k & 82k to balance the phase inverter. Look for the later schematic.

All the voltages are going to be off if that amp is run at wall voltage, and then compounded if the two dropping resistors between the filter caps are as badly drifted as those two were.

Don't you think that voltage drop can come from the choke?

Not unless somethign was terribly wrong with it, sis you measure the resistance of the choke
