I have watched all of your videos. You do a great job of explaining what one should do and what to look out for. You go step by step. Thank You I always look for just your videos. You tell a story as you are repairing the motorcycle. I don't think I'm bypass just because our bikes look exactly the same. Thank You again.

Good video, excellent advise! As an auto mechanic, I add a small step of putting a little silicone grease around the bleeder screw. It stops air from sucking around the threads of the screw and speeds up the process some and helps keep the bleeder threads from getting dirty and rusted easing future maintenance.

That’s true, I generally don’t worry about this in Florida but see the value in applying grease as a preventative.

I just flushed my lines yesterday on my 2007. It was the color of iced tea. Probably the original fluid.

Wondering how many miles do you have on your bike and/or how many miles from the last time you flushed the break system. This will give me and idea if I need to perform this. unfortunately I changed my oil this last week otherwise I could have checked and it would have been easier. The oil change video was a big help and gave me confidence in performing it. looking forward to additional videos as I plan on keeping my 1100 for many years.

You need not measure by miles, only by discoloration. Also, Its only easier to make a video with the pipe removed but most possible to flush without removing any section of the exhaust. Not a missed opportunity.

You never mentioned when you closed the bleeder. I assume before you started pumping the brake.

Thank you for a great video. I have a 2002 1100 VStar that has a metal cover over top of reservoir. Have does that come off without breaking something?
@retrotechandelectronics3 жыл бұрын
One small screw holds the metal cover on.
