Became a blue belt this pass week, never cared to much for promotion but rather just being good but it still felt good, and with the help of these videos it has greatly help me develop a game I’m proud of for now, so thanks Jordan!! I really do view you as a Bjj genius in my humble blue belt opinion lol

Love the video. Sometimes the technique breakdown commentary almost seems more ideal for gi rolls when things are naturally slower. Also a rolling back attack instructional sounds dope. I have been hitting those since you dropped that themed video way back when..

My training partner got me in a north south choke and arm triangle choke on 2 different occasions near the end of the round but I elevated my hips over my body like a bad handstand as it seemed to alleviate pressure and help me last it out. Does doing so actually help you not get choked out or was it just my partner’s fault for an imprecise choke?

Question for you: how do you decide which rolls you’re going to to start standing and actually wrestle vs starting on the ground
@JordanTeachesJiujitsu19 күн бұрын
Normally i base it off how I feel. If I have energy or not to wrestle. But right now my knee is compromised so I haven't been started any of my rounds standing to let it heal.
