There's a funny story about this music. A few months after Jorge Ben created this song, Rod Stewart recorded a song called "Every time you kiss me", which has the same melody in the chorus part. Jorge Ben processed Rod Stewart saying it was a case of plagiarism. And Jorge won it.

Tem um vídeo no KZbin com o Rod Stewart contando que passou o carnaval aqui e a música do Jorge ficou na cabeça dele, depois copiou sem perceber, acontece... ele assumiu e pagou os direitos do Jorge Ben

@@zardinho hummm... Li sobre esse caso há um tempão e lembro remotamente que a culpa havia caído sobre algum músico da banda. Vi também que a grana do processo foi para instituição de caridade. Mas, a Flávia Marques trouxe outra versão. Aí não sei qual é a versão mais precisa.
