I like how he called him a computer. Yan is the best I've ever seen at downloading and dismantling opponents. Despite what happens early in the fight, he wins the last 3 rounds every single time, if it actually goes the distance.

@@dominikburazer5292 Yan usually catches alot of shots with his high guard and doesn't really take big damage or get rocked. Oliveria is getting rocked and concussed at will in the early stages of his title fights. Yan has never really been in that kind of danger. His striking overal is pretty solid but honestly its nothing special. Yan is on another level in that department.

At first I thought it was just a thing that happened but the fact that he consistently wins the latter rounds of the fights just proves how cerebral he is as a fighter. He reads what's happening and makes the adjustments. Yan is just something else...

@@goofygoof212 if you inflated Petr to fight at 155. Or shrunk khabib to fight at 135. The fight goes like every other Khabib fight. The opponent gets smothered and mauled. Petr is incredible everywhere, on the feet and on the ground. But Khabib doesn’t need to fight skill for skill. He’s good enough (slightly below average) on the feet. But his mauling forward pressure and best in the world grappling would be too much for anybody pound for pound.

@@lonee97steffen21 I think Aljo is just a very high level grappler and because Yan is also so good at grappling and being in a firefight he out worked Aljo and made him look silly. Also I think Aljo was banking on an early finish so he threw the sink at Yan early but it actually made Yan adjust quicker and out work him and it tired Aljo out very quick

With How stacked BW is right now he’s definitely going to clear out TJ once or twice. I think if he holds his belt for 3-4 years and fights once or twice a year then his resume will be GOAT status. Aldo (possible second fight), TJ (possibly x2 depending on how he holds up), Corey (possibly a second fight as well), Aljo x2, Faber, maybe Dom if he climbs back up, Rob Font if he can get his shot, maybe even Suga? A resume like that is really only matched by one like Bones’

I think Peter's fight IQ is so powerful that he may help a future mission to Mars with it. His knowledge base is celestial and his striking is divine. The last time I saw him spar, I immediately deposited 74.99 in a postbox some where, just assuming the UFC would receive it. I didn't even mind the price increase, that's how other-worldly his skillset is.

He's constantly getting into position and finds attacks (legal and otherwise) from every position then when you hit him, he's out of position for you to hit and you end up spazzing on his high guard. Aljo got lucky. He was obviously losing that fight one way or another. But rules are rules for a reason. Aljo is the champion right now, and its not some fluke. He worked hard enough to get the title shot. Just not hard enough to earn a legitimate victory there. Looking forward to the upcoming fight.
