I had didn't heard this version yet. My sister told me about this Jorn's version just yesterday. I've heard the song right now and I liked it veeery much, another great cover song for sure by Mr. Lande. I'm huge fan of this guy that's for sure. I had the huge pleasure of watched him 7 times live here in Brazil, all was awesome, amazing concerts. I used to like a lot this song with Saxon, but with Jorn... OMG, Holy Jesus!!! Jorn always rocks in all his covers. I absolutely love his voice.

@@drgrlitz Maybe you don't like it that's fine. But remember Saxon also copied the version from Christopher Cross. Every single artist has copied but to say that an artist does what he does best is copy then it's a major foul and that you dislike the artist. Basically it means that an artist never had a hit (anywhere in the world) with music he wrote and composed rather the only hits he had were covers. Remember that this can also be said to the bands/musicians who do not write their own music but rather hire outside writers to either write for them or to co-write with them.

Saxon did a cover of a Christopher Cross-tune, but they didn't copy it - They rearranged the tune into a heavy rock song, which you give credits to Jørn for doing here. He COPIED saxon's arrangement, pretty much note for note (Except for the guitar solo, which Tore made into his own here). There is a difference. 50% of Jørn career - or more - seems to be copying other people's work, wether it's Coverdale, Dio, byron, gillan, or somebody elses. He doesn't have a style of his own, everything he does sounds like somebody else. He doesn't compose good lyrics, it's mostly meaningless drivel. There's a coupla good tracks with great lyrics on Ken Hensley's "Blood on the Highway", and I suspect very much that hensley wrote those himself, and even on those, Jørn sounds like a Coverdale hybrid. And don't tell me what i mean by interpretating my own words into yours, it's pretty obvious that english isn't your first language. This is a carboncopy version of Saxon's interpretation of a cross-tune, not a trace of original or creative effort used. It's what he does best. He's a human jukebox: Put a € in, & he'll do the song.

@@drgrlitz Someone else wrote the song and lyrics and released it before them. So it's a cover regardless of who made it a hit or not. Now moving forward he covered the song like Saxon did. It doesn't matter if it was 100% the same or not. A cover is a cover. Like I said before if you dislike him that's fine, you think that he has a career filled with "meaningless drivel" that's cool. I have no idea however what you're trying to prove here. Even if he does sound like somebody else so what? You're telling me that each and every artist has a unique sound? If you look hard enough I'm sure you'll prove yourself wrong. So what if english is not my first language? I don't think that we are comparing our foreign language skills here. Unless there something I'm missing here Lastly every artist is the same. Put a € in and he'll do the cover. Every artist is in for the money. If he can make money out of a cover then he'll do it in a blink of an eye

@@dosgos: It's a Xerox copymachine version, whereas saxon took a great tune & completely rearranged it for hard rock. This is a great cover band with an o.k. vocalist. Except for the guitar solo, which he makes his own. I relistened to a few of jørn's own tunes. They're not very good. He does a great Coverdale, Dio, Byron, Gillan, whomever else, but he can't compose - or write good lyrics - for shit. It's too bad, he's got the voice & a great band, but nothing of worth to SAY.
