José trained with the Brasilian military for boxing. He was doing that while doing mma. Most mma fighters just go straight to boxing, which is why they fail. Same for boxers to mma.

And end up being someone’s highlight reel. MMA is indeed insane, boxing though? yea throwing hands is hard if you suck at it, atleast you know punches are the only thing being thrown .

Probably one of the best displays of boxing from two MMA stars. Both landed some great shots and had good combos, but still, this just goes to show that no matter how good at pro is at MMA, pure boxing is different. Good to see the sportsmanship at the end without all the attention seeking antics.

Compare the last 10 seconds to the rest of the fight. That's the only time they were throwing heat. They weren't trying to hurt each other. More of a sparring session.

As if blocking isn't common defence that you'll see in every boxing match ever. When you're hitting nothing but gloves and you're eating every jab thrown at you, you're getting worked. Also, these editors for whatever reason emitted the most significant moment of the fight when Aldo stunned Stephens with a clean 3-2 in round 2.

Aldo is really damn good at rolling his head with the shots. It's extremely hard to catch in real time, but most of the time he rolls with the shot even when it lands "clean", taking all the force out of it.
