Extremely interesting for me right now. About to finish the remodeling of a centro house in Merida. Project took 2 years when it was supposed to take 1. Debating whether to rent it long term or short term and this interview is very informative. Thanks for making great content as always.

This is a perfect example of how not to renovate in Merida.You absolutely must be on-site throughout the process. Questions, mistakes, miscommunications all pile up by the hour. And the sheer amount of decorative stuff the workers have to navigate. Then, when it is done she will have an Airbnb that is least in demand in Merida, a large hard to maintain (all that dust collecting textile-based decorating), and expensive. Most airbnb stays in Merida are two people staying for 3-4 nights. Add to the fact that she will be an off-site airbnb host there will be property management costs and headaches. No vale la pena...

NOT a fan of the completely open showers. Hubby and I do not like staying somewhere the water splashes into the toilet or sink areas. A barrier is a must for us, and it helps prevent slipping hazards! , We don’t care for the risk of a hospital visit while on a holiday away!

Jose I have a serous question I bought a ticket from TJ to Cancún but I do not have a passport book only a card and Florida ID will they let me fly?? I’m supposed to fly the 9th of this month!! I pray you read and answer ! My first use of Spanish gracias mi chavo!!
@JoseArteagaTravelsАй бұрын
As far as I know you need to have a Valid Passport to fly within Mexico. That is the only accepted ID. A Floridas Drivers License is not recognized out here as a Valid ID. I have heard of people being able to Fly with only a Passport Card but you still need an FMM Tourist Visa and in order to get a visa you need a Valid Passport. If you are in Mexico without a Visa you are not in Mexico legally and wont be able to do any transactions such as get residency, open a bank account, or even rent a place to live. Hope you can get this resolved! Good luck with everything hope you can get an emergency passport or find another work around. Good luck!

A passport card is valid when entering the US from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at LAND border crossings or SEA ports-of-entry. A passport card is NOT valid for air travel outside the US. You need a passport booklet to fly into and around Mexico. If you were supposed to fly on the 9th you've probably already found out you can not fly internationally with just a passport card. Hope you were able to redeem the cost of your tickets.

It's very hard to live near a nursing home, but there's also a funeral home on the corner. I'm going to move out of here, Please because the cemetery is 4 blocks further ahead.😢😢😢

It will be hard to find singles. Mexico has a "family culture." If one is single, they are teens or someone died, etc.

That is a great question! I'm sure someone will have the answer you are looking for out there. I have made a few videos on dating in Mexico but alas I do not know what it is like to be a 50 something single lady 😅 Good luck with your search!
