@heyitsgab To be honest, I saw her live and she was performing with André Hazes jr. (They each did their own set) 90% of the crowd came for him, and the crowd consisted of 20 people. I came for her and left liking him more. André Hazes jr was a great guy, very friendly, greeted us at the door and made the best of it. Glennis Grace was acting her way through it, but I could tell she absolutely hated it. Anyway she certainly didn't always play sold out venues and I guess her attitude might be part of the problem. Would be a shame, for someone with such a voice.

After Forever was there before Within Temptation and has been a real inspiration in Dutch metal. Maybe some Miss Montreal.

@@prowhiskey2678 I suggested WT and FJ because they're likely a little more known there, FJ got realy widely known because her Phantom of the Opera video going viral, and Delain has been my favorite band for years now, they keep having a high quality of music ! Didn't really go for NW because it's mostly not Dutch. Epica is great too, but not as known. Mayan isn't my thing really, but i know of them, you could add Textures as well, and they're a lot less known. Not that any of that really matters, that's very true. Added Miss Montreal for some more generic poppy rock.

A fun fact about Het Is Een Nacht. Back then I was a reporter for a English radio talkshow in London LBC 97.3 At one point there was a caller talk about that song, why that fulgar song could be played on the Dutch radio. In the song they make the train sounds, kedeng kedeng toet toet. But in the last sentence guus sings; maar snachts oelala gaat het ritme doooooor kedeng kedeng. Translate but at night the rithem will go on. She found out that the train sounds are actually the sounds you make in the bedroom. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

5:44 I'm a bit late to this, but I just wanted to say it's barely a competition, and more of the singers/creators meeting and enjoying other creators. Each episode another artist within the team is kind of an MC and the other creators do a song that's somehow related to that artist. The competition part is honestly only seen in the very end of each episode, where the MC artist picks the song that they appreciated most, be it for skill or emotional reasons. They do one episode per season with just collabs between the artists. Oh and they cry at almost every song, I'm starting to think it's in the terms and conditions of the contract
