How beautiful is our Catholic Church that throughout the ages Our Father has revealed those hidden things to so many Catholic Saints. Thank you for this reading and may we all be Blessed enough to follow the example of the Holy Family by giving Reverance to God everyday, respecting each other in our families, and loving our neighbors as ourselves. How does this compare to the proto evangelium of St. James? Some details differ. Which story of how Joseph was chosen to be Mary’s spouse is true? I’m trying so hard to learn but want to make sure of what is taught by Holy Mother Church.
@donnadavid12763 жыл бұрын
@@terrysimmons5523 i don't think that what was revealed to Blessed Anne was meant to contradict Sacred Scripture but only to fill in personal charecteristics of the Holy Family. The Sacred Scriptures were written more for instruction for us to teach us how to live and teach us about the personality, character, and hesrt of God the Father, Jesus Our Lord, and the Holy Spirit from the Old and New Testament. I think Our Lord reveals things to different Saints and Blessed people in order for all of us to be able to recognize the humanity of the Holy Family as well as their love for and devotion to God. This way too we can use them as an example for our own families as we all strive to stay in a state of grace and keep following the narrow road to heaven. OUR LADY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PRAY FOR US🙏🙏🙏 SAINT JOSEPH PRAY FOR US🙏🙏🙏

Marvelous! I believe the story of St. Joseph as originated by Anne Catherine Emmerich. I appreciate the narrator who spoke non stop for 46 minutes with a never-ending smile. Fine! St. Joseph must be much pleased with this outcome. He blesses all those who took part in this video.

You should not pray to any saint the scriptures does not teach you to do that did anybody in the scripture ever pray to a saint from Moses to Jesus or better yet from Enoch to Jesus Christ did anyone of them ever pray to a saint? No they did not you people need to stop allowing yourself to be so carried away by religion and religious ideologies that make no sense and does not line up with scriptures. Believe the scriptures obey the scriptures and do as the scriptures teach.

This episode of Truth of the Spirit was taken from the spiritual visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. There is very little in the scripture about St. Joseph. You might find other references by investigating the bibliography of "THE VIRGINITY OF SAINT JOSEPH IN THE LATIN FATHERS AND MEDIEVAL ECCLESIASTICAL WRITERS by Florent Raymond Bilodeau, A Dissertation Submitted to the Faculty of the School of Theology, St. Mary’s University, Baltimore, Maryland. He researched the Latin Fathers of the Church and Testimony from the Medieval Ecclesiastical Writers--which is quite extensive! His dissertation is available online on the Oblates of St. Joseph website.

I am currently reading The Life of St Joseph, the interior thoughts by mystic Maria Cecelia Baij. Much leaves me wondering as to the truthfulness. Your reading, however, includes several things contained in both, some contradictory. I don't know what to believe at times .
@TruthoftheSpirit4 жыл бұрын
Private revelation is not required to be believed as a tenant of our faith but it can help us in growing closer to the Lord. Sometimes what the prophet sees or hears is "flavored" by their own beliefs. That is why the Church calls us to discern such words. Even the Gospels can seem to contradict each other when compared word for word but the Truth of Sacred Scripture is not contradicted only the manner in which it is expressed. For example, was man created before trees [Genesis Ch. 1] or after trees [Genesis Ch. 2]?

Yes, scripture says their trip was to register in the census. Anne Catherine's vision relates that Joseph had delayed the trip to register in Bethlehem and that the Angel instructed him it was time to go--even though Mary's delivery time was near. In current times with modern transportation women who are near their due date are instructed not to travel!
