I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God. My life is blessed because he translated the golden plates and gave us the Book of Mormon the holy scriptures which have helped me feel Jesus Christ's love and truth of the bible's teachings All because a young farm boy wanted to know which church church was true. Praise to the man who combined with Jehova

Do Latter-day Saints believe that they will “get their own planet”? No. This idea is not taught in Latter-day Saint scripture, nor is it a doctrine of the Church. This misunderstanding stems from speculative comments unreflective of scriptural doctrine. Latter-day Saints believe that we are all sons and daughters of God and that all of us have the potential to grow during and after this life to become like our Heavenly Father (see Romans 8:16-17). We believe that God is literally our father, and like any father the child can become like he is. There are many biblical scriptures that support the idea of God wanting us to be as he is. I admire you for trying to figure things out and being interested in developing your faith. I’m more than happy to answer any questions you have.
