Is it true that if we have 腰痛,doing moderate exercise would help us? Unless we feel pain, we stop. The key is to strengthen the muscle so that we don't feel 腰痛? My mother in law said, she has 針灸 which makes her feel better and they told her she should not exercise!! I feel that if she exercises and gets better, then they won't have her back as a customer and have business.

Exercise is the best medicine for elderly people, light to moderate exercise eg swimming, bicycling ( stationary bike) is good, 30 min a day. Stretching is recommended too.
