I remember being completely insecure when I started to work out around two years ago, because I always thought "man, I'm probably not made for building muscle", just because I couldn't do the transformation like the ones we are seeing nonstop. I just didn't know about the supreme genetics (and gear) all these stars are provided with and I was unhappy with the results I got (although I probably have average to above average genetics, based on the examples Greg has given over time). This knowledge really helped to not being frustrated but rather happy about the results I got, so thank you!

I remember back in high school like the first Thor movie had come out and me and my friends in fitness class were looking at the Chris transformation, the one where he supposedly gained 20 lbs of muscle, saying to each other that 20lbs should be easy to do in the one semester (3-4 months) that we had. Funny enough we were also growing a ton at that time so gaining 20lbs of weight wasn't too absurd, and for many of us it was first time lifting weights so we made mad gains and told each other we were almost there at the end of the semester

One of my friends and me challenged each other at 16 years old to get 40cm (15,7in) arms during the summer break (6 weeks in germany). We both had around 33cm (13in) to start with. :D After summer break we both measured around 35cm (13,8in) lol. Took me 5 more years to actually get to 40cm arms at a body fat below 20%.

its funny, greg is literally the most functional internet personality ive ever seen. greg has accomplished so many things in differing concentrations. he has been able to navigate and connect all of them in a way that supports his passion of helping people, and help us not be morons. you can see throughout all of gregs videos how his entire life has lead him here and lead him to his mantra and message. people try and discredit greg for their own reasons and seem to forget this is a VERY ACCOMPLISHED masters holding, world class athlete who's views are not just wishy washy make believe things. what greg tells us is a culmination of a LIFETIME of in depth experience that is completely invaluable in a world of morons. we joke about all the things greg is and it seems easy to gloss of the fact that this man is INCREDIBLY hard working and intelligent and has done more by his 40s than a lot of us will in a lifetime. dont take gregs experience for granted, and dont underestimate the importance of gaining your own life experiences. i believe we have lost a sense of appreciation that it takes to achieve those things and then actually to be able to use those experiences and apply them to not only his life, but all of those around him and who watch him. if you met greg irl i think itd be clear very fast that he is a monolith in his right

lmao that's assuming he's being honest to the viewers. He downplays gear and exaggerates it's effectiveness depending on the narrative he's trying to spin and you people eat it all up. He's basically telling you that you can't look like Henry Cavil or Chris Evans and is insinuating you can only achieve this look with PEDs without any knowledge about their training. He's not telling you the truth, he's telling you what suits him. It just so happens that he forgot to mention that these actors barely train a couple months per year and likely do lines of coke and alcohol year round. Their workouts are hardly challenging so they don't get injured. These actors could've easily achieved their looks without PEDs had they trained properly and so can you. You should really be more careful who you blindly trust on the internet, it may not be you, but there's a kid right now googling where to buy PEDs cause Greg told him he can't look like his ideal body. Imo what he is doing is borderline dangerous.

I love the fact that there are an increasing number of discussions with regards to the truth about muscle building. Still, and while I believe a person can get huge naturally, I rarely suggest many of the popular methods for doing so simply because they're not realistic (in that they're difficult to maintain) or can't be applied to most people (either because they don't work for them or are not easily-accessible). Great video by the way, Greg.
