Josh Duggar sat in a car while he listened to two people explain to him what they found on his computer. During the discussion, Josh stumbled and attempted to talk his way out of the situation. However, at the very end, Josh slipped and ultimately gave them what they needed.

Hey everyone, I want to share what plausible deniability means related to Josh Duggar’s interview. According to definitions.uslegal.com/p/plausable-deniability/ “Plausible Deniability refers to circumstances where a denial of responsibilty or knowledge of wrongdoing can not be proved as true or untrue due to a lack of evidence proving the allegation. This term is often used in reference to situations where high ranking officials deny responsibilty for or knowledge of wrongdoing by lower ranking officials. In those situations officials can "plausibly deny" an allegation even though it may be true. It also refers to any act that leaves little or no evidence of wrongdoing or abuse.” For Josh, he was attempting to argue that as the owner of the car lot he had no idea what his employees might be involved in. By denying knowledge of his employees, he’s attempting to distance himself from the crime. This tactic is commonly used in politics, corporations, and espionage. A senior ranking official will deny what people underneath them were doing to avoid consequences. By setting the stage that he lacked knowledge, Josh from the beginning had his mind set on blaming his employees. This is what became Josh’s defense. Fortunately for everyone, this did not work because the evidence did not support the plausible denial nor that anyone else downloaded the content. Hope this helps!

I think Josh talks so casually because appearing candid has always went well for him. It’s made him appear to be open and that he was “sharing his heart” with his community and especially with his parents. He wanted to appear open, cooperative and like-able. Cultivating a persona conducive with these traits has almost always worked in his favor. If he can just keep talking he will likely talk his way out of it and even be praised for his openness. However what works with mommy and daddy doesn’t work with homeland security. But Josh wouldn’t know this because he has been taught that he doesn’t answer to the law but rather only to his parents and their idea of God.

I have wondered if the car lot was just a front for Josh. If he really made his money by diligently sharing/selling CSAM (in addition to consuming it). Those cars weren’t moving off that lot, they’re most likely lemons. He said they found thumb drives and money and cell phones in the cars all the time… maybe those things were placed in the cars ON PURPOSE. Like a peer to peer sharing network of CSAM via the cars? And that’s how he provided diligently for his family- and Anna knew/ knows, maybe was initially shocked and disgusted, but ultimately justified it as long as it kept them in the lifestyle she’d grown accustomed to?

The "I'm not denying my guilt" statement was just the second smoking gun. The first, IMO, was his repeated "uploaded or downloaded" question. An innocent person wouldn't even THINK to ask that. Only someone with first hand knowledge would. Yes, he was panicked, but, I don't think it was because he KNEW he was caught. I believe it was more "I think I just gave too much info...they MIGHT use that against me" type of panic. I believe Josh is too much of a narcissist to think that he was immediately caught - just that it was possible. I firmly believe that he still thought he would get out of this, at that point. I also cringed during the "just listen part". His mmmm hhmmmmm's seem like he's disregarding what he's hearing...so flippant. UGH!

RE: thumb drives. I'm a computer tech who works in IT in a public school board and I am always finding thumb drives (or at least 5-10 years ago I did) and yeah, they would wind up in a basket somewhere and we would often wipe them and re-use them. They were a dime a dozen, and a lot were low capacity swag that got handed out when universities came to advertise or stuff like that. So it's not TOTALLY unusual to have a lot of digital crap and use it from time to time. We had to create bootable drives from time to time and would just grab a random one out of the basket. Just another viewpoint about how it's POSSIBLE but not likely in Josh's case.

Being extremely chatty and trying to correct himself after answering incriminating questions is also a sign of deception. Asking if his IP is involved and asking other questions about what was downloaded or uploaded is not only deceptive but suspicious as hell. The question is, did he ever upload content too? It’s so infuriating to hear how he attempted to manipulate his way out of it, like he really thought he could hide forever. Careful Josh, the Bible says how everything hidden will be brought into the light and pride comes before the fall. Maybe it would have been better to submit to what the Bible says instead of judging other people with it...🤔

You know, I’ve always heard that a guilty person will nearly always give themselves away. It’s the old “Freudian slip” it’s gets em every time. He also went from not knowing anything about computers/electronics to knowing the exact verbiage pertaining to it! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣😂 What an idiot. And yet what struck me was the first time the Detective stated their work was to “ save kids” he had no response. Just a “yeah”…. I cannot even imagine what my responses would have been to ANY part of this conversation.

Innocent or guilty you NEVER talk to the police and you especially don't give them your password. Stop this "nothing to hide so share" stuff. That's not how the law works and they hope you do just that and give them the easy route. If you are innocent you especially shouldn't give them any info. Only guilty people do so without lawful orders. Every lawyer will tell you the same. Be cordial but don't answer questions and don't provide any info. I mean I'm glad Josh got caught but don't give bad advice.

What kind of "friends" is he hanging out with? He says "I've watched my friends answer things and they get them for conspiracy or for something and I just... federal statutes are broad, and there's a lot of things to it, and I'm not going to say anything that's going to incriminate me..."
