All the new music on the radio is for very young listeners and it is very low quality. It tends to have negative themes. There is a whole subset of musicians in this country and other Western nations making music that is uplifting and beautiful to listen to. That music is not pushed in the corporate-run media. We have to find it ourselves and hang on for dear life.

I feel like so many people my age don't know who he is and would rather listen to all the trendy music and empty lyrics .. It's insane to me ! I bawled through the whole thing, I called my mom who is a huge fan and played it via phone for her, and we cried together. His voice just moves my soul...it has since the first time I ever heard it in the music section at Target and he stopped me dead in my tracks. Does age matters? I think I started listening to Josh since 12 or 13, now I'm 16... I think it's more important that we appreciate Josh's voice and music than who is the audience of his music. There is such profound and gentle sadness in it... the same gentle sadness that we saw on your face in the video.
