Growing up my dad would play this song by The Lettermen. I've come to love this song so much! He would sing it and stressed to us that we were never truly alone. All our family that had passed and most importantly our Savior was always with us during those hard times. When I was 23, I went to Epcot for the first with my mom time and You'll Never Walk Alone was performed by Voices of Liberty and I bawled like a baby. I hadn't heard the song in years! It was a tender mercy to remind me of the lessons my dad had shared years before. Then a few years later, my husband and I went and we decided to go see VOL again. We were running behind and I just prayed I'd get to hear them sing this song. We caught the last show of the day and the final song was You'll Never Walk Alone. My husband didn't know what to think as I sat there and sobbed. We found out after the show that normally this song isn't a finale song because with their group it's a very difficult arrangement. This just solidified to me that it was meant for me that day. Then I went back to Epcot a couple of times few years later with my friend Jess. We went for a much needed girls trip from all the stresses of life. We saw VOL both times we went and it was like they could read my heart...I was able to see it performed AGAIN...BOTH TIMES WE WENT! Years passed and we finally got a chance to take or kids to Disney. One stop on our itinerary was of course VOL. My husband at this point had heard all the stories of how "MY SONG" was sung just for me. But when we went, I didn't expect it to be sung again. I was there for my girls and wanted to share love of music with them thru VOL. My husband was sitting on a bench behind us, and I was sitting on the floor with my girls right in front of the performers. When the final song started, I knew I was going to loose it. They sang my song! Now it was my girls who got to experience my blubbering. They were so sweet an just held my hand. Afterward my husband told me he got everything on video... I still haven't been able to go watch it because I probably look a mess! SO...needless to say, this is a VERY special song to me. When Josh released his album with this song on it, I had to have it! You do this song justice, Josh. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Josh - this was my mother's favorite song. Unfortunately, she lost her battle with cancer back in 2012 - and frankly, as we face this pandemic, I keep wishing she were here. I am a COVID-19 survivor (thank God!) But I confess, I'm a bit of a baby inside - even as an adult, I always used to call Mom and ask for sympathy and advice whenever I was sick. Now I have an autoimmune disorder and getting sick is always kind of dangerous for me. Hearing this song now makes me feel like my mom is close to me again tonight, letting me know that, even now, I never walk alone. God bless you, Josh! Stay safe!!

Watching while in shutdown in Cork, Ireland. Loving how people from Broadway have reached out, singers have been singing for us, zoos have gone online for our kids, authors have read for us, comedians have kept our spirits up - and sometimes provided more information than world "leaders" - and empty celebs who are just famous for being famous have contributed....nothing. At times like these the talent floats to the top. Thank you Josh. Thank you front line workers. Stay safe people.

My senior classmates and I sang this song together at our graduation in 1968, before scattering to the four corners of the earth (Vietnam?; college?; ???). We were a close group of "army brats" attending the high school for children of Americans stationed at the Upper Heyford Air Force Base in England. The base and the school closed a couple of years later. This song let us sing our love and our benediction to one another. (Decades later, thanks to Facebook, we did have a 50th anniversary reunion; but back in 1968, we did not expect ever to be together again). Thank you, Josh, for reminding me of the love and courage and memories this song so beautifully evokes.

To where you are. Please Josh. This came out the year my Mom was dying of cancer. I heard it every morning as I was heading to the hospital, and it gave me strength to get through the days and nights I spent at the hospital with her during her last days of life. Take care Josh. You are very loved. You kept me sane at a time in my life when I just wanted to run away.

The day my husband of 51 years passed away I so needed a word from the Lord. I asked my daughter who was sitting next to me to pray. And the word or I should say song that He gave me was " You'll Never Walk Alone." The minute I had that thought I knew it was from God. I hadn't heard that song in years. The comfort I felt then was truly a gift. That song still brings me comfort 3 years later. You sing it so beautifully.

This song means so much to me because a couple of years ago my family went through some hardships. When my Mother and I would find ourselves in tears, I’d play Josh’s version of this song. I promised her that one day we’d get out. One day I’d sing with him. A year later, I got a call from my old choir teacher asking me to sing with him on tour and my Mom got to sit in the audience and see my dream come true, she saw me sing this with him and I’ve never seen her glow brighter. This song is so powerful for me because it changed my life.

Josh, I grew up watching the Jerry Lewis telethon and every year Jerry Lewis ended the telethon singing this and it was always so beautiful to see the emotion this song would bring to him and others. My dad passed away in December from a long battle of Alzheimer's. He and my mom were part of a support group for Alzheimer's patients and their families. My dad who was a phenomenal tenor and a volunteer church choir director suggested the support group form a choir. The group formed a choir and went around to local memory care facilities singing songs and helping to uplift others. They decided to use this song as the closing song for their group. On December 11, 2019 my mom passed away ( a fall two weeks earlier left her paralyzed ) and 13 days later on Christmas Eve my dad joined her in Heaven. Your music is so inspirational to me, I've seen you perform at Jiffy Lube in Bristow, VA and would love to hear you again. Until now, I will enjoy watching you online. Stay strong and healthy.

Okay little story to this comment. Many years ago music was everything to me; at 10 years old I played the viola, the piano and was a very proud member of a boy's choir. Being a member of the choir was a lot of work with hours of practice more than several times per week and very competitive which made it quite stressful as well. As time passed the stress got to me, I lost my confidence, quit the choir and never ever opened my mouth to sing ever again. Now here we are with #ShowerSongs and it just so happens that on Tuesday I will turn 50 years old. I have decided on that day as a birthday present to myself I will try to sing something or another. It will be unpracticed, possibly very croaky (is that a word?). But maybe its a start for something new. Thanks for the inspiration Josh!

I have always loved your voice. And hearing you sing this particular song a cappella alone in your shower while so many of us are also in isolation moved me to tears. But in a good way. It was beautiful. Thank you.

I have been a HUGE fan of Josh’s since I was young (8-9 years old). As a 20 year old now, his voice still moves me in tremendous ways. This brought me to tears, actual tears 🥺 Amazing job as always Josh. 💙💙🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This song was sang at our wedding, in 1973! I chose it because of some hardships we had experienced before getting married. It will always be one of my favorites. Thank you Josh!
