If yall have learned anything from the past its that you NEED to hire that boy Antonio Pearce. Rich Bisaccia took yall to the playoffs after a horrible start to the year and they canned him after making the playoffs. Pierce sems like he really wants to make a difference plus players really seem to like him and his presser saying "I want the practice squad guys to be on the sidelines and I really want them to make the 53" you can tell he cares and yall also need to save money after giving McDaniels 40M and Racist ass Jon Gruden 100M and you can prolly offer him a decently low contract and he'll take it to continue to be the HC.

"If it ain't broke, why fix it?" This is probably the biggest question surrounding McDaniels' tenure, cause the Raiders have nearly all the pieces to become a serious contender. With the way McDaniels reacted after hearing that speech, I think I have the answer to why this team struggled under him: pride. The Seven Deadly Sins define pride as "excessive belief in one's own abilities", and this fits McDaniels very well. The Raiders already have their core assembled, but McDaniels wants to build HIS core rather than use what was already available, tying in to the definition of pride I shared. Considering he did this twice, to the same predictable results, it's hard to see McDaniels get another head coaching gig again. Running back to Belichick may not be an option this time either, given the mess the Patriots are in. At the very least, McDaniels is set for life if he manages his finances properly, since Mark Davis is literally still paying him money to stay away from the team (4 years left in that 6 year lucrative contract, being fired does not void the contract, so yes, McDaniels is still under Davis' payroll).

The initial report said the raider players were "allowed" to give feedback at that tell-all meeting. So they weren't allowed to give feedback any other time? Maybe that's one reason why they were horrible on offense & had to tell the media "they weren't on the same page as the front office". JM was a petty & vindictive pos. His treatment of Waller (sending him to a team across country & telling DW while he was on his honeymoon), giving Carr's number away immediately as if Carr hadn't been with the team for 9 years. They lied about negotiating with Josh Jacobs. And what happened with Chandler Jones? People with mental health issues get triggered & CJ was triggered twice, both times on teams with JM. It was a breath of fresh air (cigar smoke notwithstanding) when he was fired. hallelujah

The only reason Josh McDaniels is considered such a great offensive mind is because he has Belachick to put him in check if he wandered to far from the program and because he had Tom Brady as a buffer from bad calls. They both made McDaniels look good. It was quickly discovered when he arrived at Denver how bad he really was. Denver is still trying to recover years later from his influence in 1.5 seasons. The head scratcher is why Mark Davis would hire him even at the behest of Zeigler after seeing what he did to Denver.
@jamesbroomfield7799 Жыл бұрын
Josh McDaniels was successful because he had Tom Brady hands down. Tom Brady ran the offense did his audibles and basically knew what he wanted to do on offense. Tom Brady motivated the offensive players in kept them on track. This was a perfect opportunity to use the projector to fire the coach. BTW where is the projector Amy?

I feel the same way about New Orleans and Dennis Allen….I think he and a lot of the staff are in over their head. I feel like we could be a lot better than we are playing, record wise, play calling….I want a new coach and staff in the 504.

That's crazy he put that on his kids. I thought he was a joke of a head coach after he got fired the first time.
@billyt9987 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, now everyone knows he's a joke of a father as well.
@jamesrogerz5038 Жыл бұрын
@@billyt9987I would have to agree with you as well. As a man how do you put that on your kids. I get they need to know that they are moving but you do that shit way differently than ruin the kids holiday.

Actually, I'd *love* to see Josh McDaniels coaching an XFL squad, or whatever they become after the merger. Because when he has to answer sideline reporters live questions, we're going to get a glimpse of what he's like as a coach when his moves are being questioned by people he can't control. It will put on display for everyone exactly what goes on his his head, and give a glimpse as to what it's like to be under Bellichek.
@Crateron1 Жыл бұрын
I don't think he would last long there, we would probably see his first meltdown with the reporters two or three weeks into the season, and it would be all downhill from then on. He is full of pride and has learned nothing from his failures.

He deserves to be back in the NFL. He's being black balled because of how great he is!

When you said he would possibly go back to the lap of Bilichick that had me rolling. At this point actually what are his options? Also how can you exist anywhere in New England peacefully or Nevada for that matter. I heard somewhere he is originally from Ohio so maybe he goes back there and coaches at a D2 school.
