Juana Barraza was horribly damaged and traumatised from her childhood. Her mother sold her to some guys for 3 beers, and when they were "done with" her, they sent her back to her mother, who continued to mistreat and abuse her. She was basically just trying to kill her mother over and over. (Obviously, not an excuse. Just feels a bit unfair that aileen and judy got explanations and juana didn't)

I think the number of women serial killers/murderers is much much higher than we want to believe. I live in a small town in north dakota. There is a woman here who's first husband died under mysterious circumstances. Not just a year later and she's engaged to someone else and he mysteriously dies in his garage from carbon monoxide. Fast forward like 4 years and she's engaged to another guy. This guy was a father of a classmate of mine. I found this out much later. But he was undergoing cancer treatment. Apparently she was switching pills of his around and putting different pills in different bottles of his...and replacing other drugs with like over the counter lookalikes....but it was never looked at like a murder.

Guys literally no one cares that you're triggered by biology. Science changes as our understanding of it develops. Trans people are valid and their hormones and brain actively accurately reflects the gender they claim to be. Gender is so much more complicated than just stick or hole. There's so many hormones and key development stages in pregnancy that can majorly affect how a kid turns out. If someone's body develops a certain way but the hormones in their body are the complete opposite: There is *no* scientific precedent for what you guys believe and about 50 odd years of biology that supports trans people. Y'all literally can't have researched this stuff because there's absolutely no science to back it up. Y'all just refuse to accept a version of the world that's different from the one you *thought* you understood as a kid

European sentences aren't remotely as insane as in the US. With murder, it's hard to say if that's good or not, but drug sentences make much more sense here in Austria, or places like Germany. I think it's pretty bananas the amount of time some people in the USA get for drug charges.
@beezowdoodoozoppitybopbopb94883 жыл бұрын
In Missouri they have diversion programs to avoid prison. Keep fucking up and you will eventually find yourself sentenced to prison. A first sentence for a nonviolent drug felony is typically 7 years, but your first time down will be 15% in prison, and half the remainder on parole, which equates to 1 year prison, 3 years parole. As far as im concerned that's fairly light. I wonder what happens when you're caught with meth in Saudi Arabia. If you get to walk away with your life you're probably disfigured.
@manuele.itriagom.7283 жыл бұрын
@@beezowdoodoozoppitybopbopb9488 yeah, there's always places like Saudi Arabia that are worse haha or Singapore, where you get the death penalty. But, I mean in developed western countries. Anywho... Nice to hear that in Missouri they have that. I have a "friend" that went to jail for dealing cocaine here. He got 18 months, but that was his third time caught. The first one was a light fine and the second time was a more expensive one.
@phillipalexander78622 жыл бұрын
I think it kind of balances out with how insane violent crime sentences are in Europe. I’d go nuts if someone murdered my family member and got a short European type sentence.
@miguelgonzales88872 жыл бұрын
Well in Austria they are still making up for the death sentences of the 30’s and 40’s.
@manuele.itriagom.7282 жыл бұрын
@@miguelgonzales8887 That might be true and personally I'm not one to justify their past. But I don't think using the past as an argument for the present is the right way to approach things. Especially considering that Austria has had to make due (if even possible) to it's mistakes and remember that after WW2 they weren't an independent nation for 10 years, as a consequence of what they did. In any case, I believe that the point I was making has nothing to do with your reply. It feels a bit lazy and generic. But beyond that, we all want the best for ourselves, right? So I always leave patriotism aside. For me, US sentences are a bit outdated and should be revised. That's all I'm saying about that. Every country has things to fix. As a society we move forward (hopefully) and America is a great country. Just pointed out something that TO ME is outdated and extreme
