I prefer SPD pedals because they can go much longer without needing maintenance, and by maintenance, I mean regreasing the bearings. Never did I need to replace any parts like you need to do with crankbrothers pedals. IMO the only use for crankbrothers is for short muddy races because they clear mud better than SPD and can be lighter weight.

I did the same hack to fit that piece. But I used a long spoke nipple to put the 2 spokes together.

Cranks Bros are nice to use , but I've had 2 break when riding. The only way to be sure this wont happen is to get the rebuild kit and service them once/ year. My Ti ones broke a few weeks ago so hope they are still supplying the rebuild kit. In the meantime, I prefer Shimano XTR. Can't go wrong with them. Yes, i agree, it's fun taking them apart😂

@@nicvieri2627 I’d worry if the spoke got stuck to the part and then it would be a bigger problem than it’s worth. 2 spokes, 1 nipple, a small magnet and some masking tape.

Francis, if Specialized paid for the products that they received then they have ZERO obligation to pay any money to those workers. If you feel so strongly about it, send your own money to those workers.

Interesting comment given that it's exactly what he said already. He then went on to specifically talk about how ultimately, Specialized uses those underpaid workers to sell us products at a much higher profit. That money that is owed to the workers is peanuts to specialized. But hey, thank you for defending the billionaires. You're doing God's work mate.

@@EstebanDVO Yeah, because buyers of said products check the wages of workers in foreign factories before deciding to purchase those products to make sure that the workers are paid or even paid at levels acceptable to buyer. Additionally, if you were paying attention, he's been doing this for several videos, lately. That's called haranguing. And, since you seem to be a customer, use your own money to pay the workers and stop pushing your economic "feelzgood" on everyone else.
