Competing in jiujitsu is nerve racking as it is but when you're in front of a crowd, the stakes are even higher. Glad to get the first one out of the way...only up from here! Follow me: Instagram - JoshxJitsu TikTok - Josh.Jitsu

Had my first superfight last year which was pretty lackluster. Screwed myself over by not taking it as seriously as I should have and training not nearly enough. So as someone who’s been in that match setting, it was really cool to see all the preparation you put in and the execution of your gameplan. Great video as always dude. You got one of the best jiu jits channels on yt hands down.

Thank you! The best thing about that is you won’t make the same mistake again. Keep it going dog 💪

Just agreed to my first superfight in 40 days, and I'm planning and wrestling a lot to prepare! Funny how this pops up in my recommended. How do you deal with bad days leading up to the match, cuz I feel like I'm on a downwards swing skill wise right now and its fucking with my mental a bit :/

I think consistency is key, even in a bad week there will be a good day or two and those will make it easier. Take a note of something that you did well, something you can fix, and an action you can take to improve, after both good and bad sessions. You’ll start stacking up small steps towards progress. Good luck and have fun most of all!
