Hi, Josh and Rachael..., They are ( all ) Dive Bars, and you might have forgotten two big ( Dive Bars ) in Las Vegas; #1) "Double Down Saloon", ( considered the #1 Dive Bar in Las Vegas. #2) "Hogs and Heifers" is also consider a Dive Bar and quite an experience, since they moved to their new location in Las Vegas... Excellent video and very informative and thank you for sharing the video... I am so ( proud of you two ) and enjoyed your video and watched a few more of your excellent videos... Mine used to be WORLD OF BEER in Henderson NV which I guess is technically not las vegas but iirc it is closed now they used to have excellent german beers and other craft beers.

Stage door good place for $1 beer and hotdogs.i had a blast last month,think next time in Vegas definitely going back for beers and glizzys for a buck.👍

A true "dive bar" should havs 3-5 old men sitting at the bar. And a beer should be under $5.00. Ellis Island was once a "dive bar" too!

OMG you didn't go to Double Down Saloon?? I'm hurt. 😉 That is the best bar ever. You *must* try a few shots of their infamous Ass Juice. (At the end of a shift the bottles with small amounts left get poured into a gallon jug. Booze, mixers, everything. $5 a shot)

Great video. I'm not a Dive Bar kind of person. I went to two here in Arizona. I never felt more unwelcomed in my life. I was polite and friendly, not sure what I did to offend the bartenders. I left and still tipped $2 on a single beer each.

We have been going to Stage Door for almost 20 yrs, accidentally found it while going back to our room in Caesers after leaving the Drink (old standalone nightclub before vegas was nightclub central) one long night ago, but first time there if you weren't tattooed up or an Ironworker...you might feel out of place.... but after that its our goto place when we want to get off the strip, away from tourists for a beer and some video poker

Awesome list & I love the recent Downtown & off strip videos! I was excited to see you try Red Dwarf because I'll be going there for the Sunday Surf brunch on a trip soon. Another dive bar I've heard Bourdain visited is the Double Down Saloon. Looks crusty! 😅

Give red dwarf another chance!! I'm not a Detroit pizza fan, but their pizza is fantastic! Highly recommended Sun brunch. I often have to hit up Sun brunch for the surf rock band.

Thanks Chef! Yea we would likely not do too much of this at night, definitely not walking. Stage Door was actually the least safe feeling spot for us, we had heard bad things about Huntridge Tavern but it was easily one of our favorites. Hot dog was good because we were starving at this point in the day. It was the day we had 1228Main for breakfast and it had been 6 hours and 5 drinks later 😂

I wouldn't call Frankie's a dive bar as it's mostly tourists, it's really nice in there and can be very expensive but yep, very dark. I've never been to Huntridge so thanks for the intro to that place. The one spot that makes this list incomplete IMO is The Hard Hat. If you've never been, it's one of the few old Vegas dives that has great food. Highly recommend. EDIT: I was wrong in the post above. Golden Tiki is the touristy, expensive place, Frankie's is a legit dive just like they said.

Need to check out Hard Hat. Golden Tiki is definitely tourists but Frankie’s is in a rough part of town that not the easiest to get to, I will agree the drinks are a bit pricey for what they are. Thanks for watching

I love Frankie’s, Atomic, Silver Stamp and Red Dwarf but wouldn’t really consider any as dive bars. You need to do Double Down Saloon, it’s a dive but a with really friendly staff, same owner as Frankie’s. The ultimate Vegas dive is the Aztec Inn, that place is wild, maybe too much of a dive but the PBR is always on special. Also not a dive necessity but a great place is Starboard Tack.

Red Dwarf definitely not a dive bar. It used to be a spot called Smuggle Inn, which was raided for selling cocaine from behind the bar and shuttered - now THAT was a dive bar. You should do Round #2: Moondoggies, Double Down, Office Bar Package Liquors, Decatur Package Liquors and Cocktails, Rusty Spur, Dive Bar (way sketchy), Champagnes, Play It Again Sam's, and The Aztec (at times downright dangerous)… to name a few! Happy drinking!

@@JoshRachael I did watch the whole video, and learned about some places I didn't know about and other places I've wanted to try. Thanks!. Doubledown tries hard to be a dive bar, and they succeed. Contrary to another comment, Red Dwarf is def. a dive bar, they just happen to be really good. It's charmingly seedy, and local-made drafts start @ $4. Looking forward to the next one.
