I'm very curious to know what do you think about blackwings, they can put up a very strong board through hts but they suffer a little bit going second. I would like to see what people could come up with to fix this problem if the deck was more represented

Oh my god, its gonna be the episode of the year, I can already hear him scream Biiiig Gaaaabooooonggggaaaaaa when he summons it. A friend of mine plays salads with a side of Gabonga and lemme tell ya, thats one nasty deck. Everytime he summons Big.Gabonga in testing, everybody around goes BIIIIGGGG GAAAAABOOOOONGAAAA

@@weedhigh2564 oh yes, out of 1 Gabonga you can pull out a board with 2 Heralds, full armored package, a random rank 3 and, fo course, the Big Gabonga... or just play it with superheavy to abuse Therion and Sargas and use a Tenpai side just because there are some lvl 3... it's a crazy archetype for deckbuilders

wave king is great obviously but vw is known for being the beatrice deck because it makes 6s easily, not because it benefits a lot off of beatrice itself. It definitely has uses like sending qinglong but its probably better to just play more non engine

The oppressive synchro lines are less likely but people are coping if they think the pure link version (or with the trashtira stuff) isn't the best deck still. I think an Oak ban would've done more.

This is the deck I learned them on. Was always off put from learning them when pend decks have so much text on each card to learn. But melodious only having the 2 cards makes it so much easier to learn with. Recommend trying them or Vaalmonica as first pend deck for sure

If you read the comments, I have been working on a horus engine deck with Jinzo. I think I haven't lost to lab yet. But having issues with other decks which is a fact. I want it to work so if you're bored play around with the idea.

Sounds like its trying to be a mannequin cat toolbox deck for an array of older floodgates attached to monsters. I.e. aforementioned Jinzo, or magic canceller.

Btw the problem is not Maxx C. Josh is on point about how overpower some combos are allowed to be, as they do not thrive not even 5 rounds in a Maxx environment. But HERE Maxx is Banned to get these combo cards that are no more than super rare in OCG and rarity warp them into oblivion of 80$+. Inteligent observers realized that back in gumblar handloop format. Others didn't realized Maxx is banned in order to warp rarities over here until this day. Is Maxx C the most powerful card ever printed? Might be. But that is NOT the reason it is banned here. It is just in order to rarity warp combo boards that were originally intended to face natural counterplay.

Even a deck weak to maxx c could play maxx c. In ocg the meta is quite the same at least for the best deck of every formats (and the top tier always is an heavy combo weak to max ). Even with maxx c the prices would be same

No sugar coating; saying consistency hits do "something" is a timid way of saying it does very little, and/or nothing that matters, and that which "accomplishes" is done in a flawed way, but the Konami entity in charge of these things doesn't know, doesn't learn, and doesn't care to learn. It's the same concept about limiting, or banning a strong card; no matter how few copies available, it doesn't change the actual power level of the card, it doesn't change its effects. It's not hard to understand. The internal structure of the game, its design, it doesn't function that way; it's the equivalent of summoning Monkeyboard instead of using its pendulum effect. Sure it 'works', it does 'something', you now got a monster on the field with 'some' stats, hurray. Ultimately, you're doing a very, very bad job. That's not how the banlist works, not how it's supposed to be used, not how it interacts with the game.
