Ngl i know how the deck works but I still don't know how josh makes it work... everytime i play the opponent knows every move i wanted to do. They chain in the right places, destroy/ banish the right targets. I get absolutely nothing...

Can someone explain why Rise to Full Height is mandatory 3? It’s OK… but I wanted to use other cards every time I drew it. Doesn’t seem impactful enough for 3 mandatory copies unless I am missing a huge play with it

It's not a card you want to draw necessarily. Its strength is the GY effect, since it only allows your opponent to attack one of your monsters. That means only 1 attack. And if that monster gets removed from the field (by putting it in the backrow with Subversion or, if it's Linkuriboh, by tributing itself for example), that means they can't attack at all so you are guaranteed to survive a turn

I don’t like the second effect idea. Draw 2 every turn guarantee plus the extra as another draw 1 is pretty crazy. Maybe you could banish a second copy to prevent battle damage or something. Let’s you survive until you get the initial effect again.

Hey Josh, I was wondering what your opinion would be on running 2 copies of Magical hats in paleo. I know the weaknesses of being a battle trap are a bad set back, but I have used it to great success to reset my paleos from being banished, and it gives me a free mill 2 of any 2 traps I want. Maybe the negatives are not worth it, or the benefits are not valuable enough, not sure what you think. Anyway, love the deck, thank you for teaching me!

You can just banish the cards you don't need like spells and traps that have been milled and are basically useless. Its basically converting useless cards in grave into disruption via book of moon and an extra body on the field. So yeah snow is unfortunately pretty good in that deck 😅
