It's a great move for all parties. £10m for a player with 10 games is decent. The buy-back clause and sell on fee is very clever. If he's the new Maldini we can get him back for peanuts or pocket money if he's going to Real Madrid 😅 The £10m is helping our PSR massively

Given that he had 12 months left and wouldn't sign the contract offered I think it was a shrewd bit of business with the sell on fee and buy back clause . Presumably the 10m also counts as profit for next season's PSR target.

Good start. Low key enough to be a clear change from our typical "marquee summer signing" (or cash bonfire). Interesting profile.
