great little video - been considering this lens, but I think you sold me on the VLOG for the Gh5

It's solid lens bro. It's under rated in my opinion. It has a unique look to it.

Catching up on these. Every now and then I do a JKM binge. This video struck me, love the A+B story you included i.e. the vlog about the shoot, but the tale about the lens and the kit. Great stuff as usual!

Nice bts video, I really enjoyed it. Any reason you were recording the 10-bit into the Shogun over the Gh5 internal 10 bit? Did you just want to work with ProRes over HVEC internal codec?
@joshuamartinstudios6 жыл бұрын
Great question! In most cases I like to use my inferno to show client the different takes. It's bigger and brighter than the regular screen on the GH5. Which of course helps me see and nail my shots. The second reason son redundency, I'm recording to the SD card and my SSD. So it acts like a fail safe if any goes wrong. And yeah I find that the prores files are just easier to use in post.

Thanks for the reply. Keep up the great work! When do you post your grading breakdown? :D

Thanks for great demo and nice looking footage. How's the breathing on these lenses?
@joshuamartinstudios6 жыл бұрын
For sure man, yeah there is breathing. If we're to give a grade from 1-5...5 being the heavy breathing, it'll be a 3.

do you use both a tiften filter and an nd filter?
@joshuamartinstudios6 жыл бұрын
