I want a "But Worse" series. Where you take dishes from super fancy, high end restaurants and recreate them as simply as possible. And you're limited to only the most basic kitchen appliances that the average adult would own. Exclusively shopping at Walmart would be the cherry on top.

I always (always, always) add vanilla to my pancake batter. If I use frozen berries that had thawed, I add that thaw juice to the batter too giving the cake a slight berry flavor.

Great video. Keep them coming. Especially love the content where you focus on appropriate technique for prep of constituent fresh ingredients b/c it usually strikes an appropriate balance . I will never do enough volume cooking for a family of four to achieve the technique mastery of a high end prep cook, but you seem to appreciate that when discussing technique and adjust accordingly.

Just made these but added a few things. Some dried lavender flowers, some lavender extract, and matcha powder. I kid you not, some of the most floral and aromatic pancakes I've ever eatten. Absolutely wonderful and very filling. Gonna freeze the rest in vaccum bags and toast em another time.

Dunno about sober, but I somehow made my way to the local IHOP at like 6am after easily the worst night of my life and I commend the personnel for their service. We felt and looked like we had just been through hell and they were just so nice to us. Still will try at some point these pancakes, wonder if you have the recipe for the lemon pie ones they have as I LOVE all lemon sweets.

Made these this morning and they were delicious. I used einkorn flour instead of AP so reduced the liquid. I live at 6,300 ft elevation so next time I'll reduce the leavener. With less air pressure, they rise fast then fall a little.

The one in our town was one of the old tall A-Frame buildings. Our prefference over Denny's for late night night, after the bar closed dining. I like blueberry pancakes but their blueberry sauce was just waaaaay too sweet and overpowering for me. Actually, I used to sometimes order their porkchop dinner and sometimes their tunamelt sandwich. Haven't been there in a long time though. When they dropped their actual international menu....specifically the Swedish pancakes with lingonberry butter....it was the end for me.

Or what about a series where you take recipes from either a meal planning service like eMeals (which is all from scratch) or a home delivery kit like Blue Apron (with the ingredients and recipe they provide) and make them better. So we can make them better.

I made these pancakes and they’re absolutely amazing. The only substitution I made was an eighth of a cup of honey for the quarter cup of sugar because I have a sugar allergy. They were so fluffy and absolutely delicious.

Stop having kids people! It’s immoral to subject your children to unnecessary suffering without their consent! Because no one can consent to being born, it should be assumed that consent to being born doesn’t exist; therefore, no action should be taken on behalf of the child. Just like how it’s not okay to r@pe an unconscious person just because they can’t consent to your act. Everyone has the rights to eternal peace & freedom from all harm, both of which can only result from remaining in the void. I have a suggestion for a future but better video (even though it probably won't happen) There's this local taco restaurant called Main St. Tacos, It would probably be an extremely long drive but if you do any traveling to IL around Wauconda. In fairness to I Hop, pancakes need to be eaten right off the grill while they are hot, not warm. Same with cookies, but that is another story. I do like fluffy, and real butter, and real maple syrup!
