Right on! How many bands have come along in which every single member is a phenomenal talent with world class musicianship? Not many! Fagen and Becker only allowed the greatest to play with them. Some people over the years have hinted that they think Donald Fagen and Walter Becker are snobbish and have big egos. I doubt that's true, but even if it were, I say they have the right to be. I've been a guitarist/musician for 45 years and I'm still not good enough to tune their instruments for them. LoL

@@nicklusliftsAs a guitarist I can say you're so right! The the 4 chords in the intro just before the first verse starts are: Fmaj7 F#7#9 Fmaj7 G#maj7add13 You need to be at a pretty advanced level of skill to play those chords in a song!

@@iluvdaguitar this is a full step down from original
@iluvdaguitar28 күн бұрын
@@jimbaxter8488 So it is. What does that have to do with me? I'm assuming because of the chords I posted. I was talking about the chords in the original. The chords in this version would be D#maj7, E7#9, D#maj7, and F#maj7+13.

Donald Fagen is the white, sighted version of Ray Charles. I swear, he models his stage presence after Ray Charles. hehe. I have always thougth that. Just watch him. He moves like a blind man up there.
