No tension because the stand itself dominated most users with not a lot of trouble using a minimum amount of strategy which just gives more merit to SP being OP asf (legit the only visible trouble Jotaro had in P3 was N'doul, Anubis, Yellow Temperance I guess and DIO). If Bruno, Joseph or Jolyne had SP they would dominate most of the verse due to not just using it as a punching ghost but using it far more creatively and effectively.

I think his stand is modeled after his body shape. like we see in certain scenes in part 3 that they were of the same height and their hands were the same size. and jotaro stand was usually just buffer than him as jotaro used to be more hot-blooded. but then as time went , he started strategizing more and lost weight so I think his stand adapted to that as it was the representation of his fighting spirit.

I heard someone say since a stand is representation of your soul, Jotoro’s stand “becomes smaller” as an effect of his mental state and PTSD. As a teenager he was very hot-blooded and certain of everything. But after the events with Dio and many of his friends dying, he has to deal with the mental and emotional consequences of that, and his work in general. He gets tired man, he’s still hella fricking strong, but it takes its tole.

I feel as if in part 3 the "Ora" was truly aggressive as the enemies were putting his friends lives at danger, but then had less meaning in part 4. But in part 6, you can definitely hear the aggression and meaning in his stand cry again, and I think this is because he truly hated Pucci and he was putting his daughter's life in danger.

I like to think of this as Jotoro evolving/ageing but also getting weaker. Since he is a full adult now he has aged and because he hasn't fought or used his abilities in a while, they have dulled. In Part 3 He was powerful and unstoppable and was literally at the top, but when Dio Died it all kinda went downhill because they world was "safe" and in Stone Ocean, he mett his end because someone else was stronger

SP most likely lost muscle mass due to inactivity. Like a muscle, a stand must be used frequently to keep in shape. This is evident in diu when jotaro explains that the last time he stopped time or even needed to use star platinum was when he was fighting dio, so he was out of practice and SP was lacking use. It also shows this in the manga when it says that the longest jotaro was able to stop time for was when he was in his prime, at age 17 when he used star platinum the most.

Each part perfectly depicts how Star Platinum changes. If you couldn't tell, in part 4 Jotaro hasn't used Star Platinum or its abilities for 10 years. As time goes on, he barely found the need to use Star Platinum and as older he got, his fighting spirit has calmed down and he wasn't as perceptive when first introduced. You could just say he was nerfed, but it was probably marriage that nerfed him.
