Definitely add all the icky life stuff, no matter what. I look back at old journal entries from 15 years ago or longer, and I can see where I still need change, or how funny it was that I cared about that guy I was dating, or more recently, everything that happened when I had my son, got diagnosed with cancer, went through surgery, chemo, radiation and reconstruction surgeries. Thankfully that time is all in my rear view mirror, thank God. I still look back at my “bad” entries from four years ago and see how much life has now changed for the better. I want my son to read it all one day, good and bad. Write it all down. Your pages look great to me!

these goals are a really great reminder - I have thought about sharing my journaling pages but am still a bit on the fence but I love your journal videos. I'm glad that you're allowing yourself to use your journal for you more than for other - your style is absolutely stunning!!

Beautiful page! I just got into art and it can be really discouraging seeing everyones "perfect" artwork. I think seeing someone mess up is far more helpful and meaningful than seeing the perfect piece.
