not an expert on sumikko gurashi lore but they do have names (the little white bear is shirokuma, the blue one is tokage, etc.) and they like to sit in corners! their stories are actually very cute and made me love them more :)

one tip i have is that places like michaels and target will often have $1 sticker books that are meant for teachers to use with sticker charts or w/e, and some of them are SUPER cute. i feel less bad about using them to decorate my agenda bc they're so cheap! i found this one glittery butterfly & flower sticker book and it's so fun to use!

I’ve been playing the sumikko gurashi mobile game for years haha I love those guys. The green bird is named penguin, the bear is shirokuma, the little brown guy is tonkatsu, the cat is neko, and the blue guy is tokage. Tokage’s mom is like a little Loch Ness monster it’s rly cute ^_^

Midori also has a correction tape that's more like a creamy color. I haven't tried it though so I don't know if this "recommendation" is useful 😅 I loved this video btw, I'm all in for a series of hobonichi hangouts! 😍 Last year I got my first Hobonichi to use as a journal, but since I couldn't keep up with it, this year I decided I would use a regular undated notebook for journaling instead, so I wouldn't feel like I'm wasting so much paper or money. Sometimes I think that the downside of this journaling method sort of speak (one sheet/spread per day) is a bit limited, since on some occasions I wanna write way more than these pages allow me to do. But gosh, hobonichi's are really special and I already miss using it so much... I keep telling myself maybe next year I'll give it another try

Sumikko (Japanese すみっこ or 隅っこ) means "corner(s) of a room or other space; nook); gurashi (Japanese ぐらし or 暮らし) means "daily living". So "sumikko gurashi" can mean "daily living in a nook/corner".

A very small critque/advice. I think a lot of people half-watch videos like these (like myself, journaling rn!) and if I can speak generally, we're unconcerned with the layouts and quality of your sticker placements and etc. Just having you to vibe with as we do our activities is nice! I mostly just don't want you to feel pressured to make things look perfect
