Arnel was a tenor 2 border soprano in his hey day ..late 80's to early 90's but his voice was shot in mid 1995 due to drugs and alcohol abuse... The doctor said find another job cuz your voice is not coming back.. But he rehab himself after 6 months his voice back but not really as high... Fast forward in 2008 when journey hired him was not in his prime anymore cuz he was 40 yrs old.. But still sings high like journey songs as u can see here

2/5 of the band? Which band? the one from 1973, 1981, 1986, 1996, 2001, or 2006 - the only mainstay is Neal Schon. Even Ross Vallory left at one point. Journey toured from 1973 to 2010 -- 37 years w/ multiple lineups. People still flock to see them. And, they're experiencing a revival here in Europe. Truth be told, it's Neal Schon's band, and he can tour with whoever he wants. Yes, even Arnel. It's Neal's legacy to do with as he pleases. And certainly NoSteveNoJourney doesn't have a vote.

I hope the organizer have the brains to understand that AOR is the most modern and exiting form of rock,so throw the numetal-punk-emo grunge garbage outside this festival and make a call to NEW amazing bands of this gene such as WORK OF ART and BROTHER FIRETRIBE!!!!!
