I was very lucky to be in my young 20's during the 80's it was a great time. You don't have to be a teen these days to enjoy what the 80's has to give. The 80's always has something to give and then some. Look into Pat Benatar, Loverboy, Night Ranger, Cyndi Lauper, Def Leppard, and so on. 1984 is when things really took due to MTV. Now days we are lucky to get a good song every 2-5 years, back then great songs were coming out every weekend you couldn't keep up unfortunatly that was long ago. Thanks for enjoying this band from long ago and keeping the 80's alive. PS look into Tina Turner w/ Brian Adams " It's only love" live you wont be dissapointed.

What a voice! The way he sings the song away at the end, its so sad in a way, like he's saying goodbye to the past in real time. It actually touched me about the loss of my long ago youth. What a power, to pull emotions out of an audience like that. I love Steve Perry, don't get me wrong, but this song is a team effort. The guitar riff is one of their best, and the execution and production are great.

Yeah as a metalhead who prefers Thrash Metal I learned to respect classic rock and ballads more because without Led zeppelin, journey, budgie, blue öyster cult, queen and etc. We wouldn't have Metallica, Megadeth and Pantera. The bends in shedding skin sound similar to everyway you want even though the riff is based off of jump in the fire.

I could listen to this over and over again a million times and never get tired of it. It was always an amazing song on its own, and then it’s tie to Caddy Shack made it better in pop culture, but now the context that Better Call Saul has given it has made this song personal to me on a whole nother level. I used to think of it as the fun rock n roll movie tied to the end of a rambunctious wacky classic American irreverent comedy, now I will always think of the dark tragedy of how a man lost his love, everyone he loves actually, and his soul to become a sad shallow husk of a man chasing money and sex and business to fill the void in his heart and occupy the quiet moments that would make him reflect. Truly a masterpiece. Let justice be done though the heavens fall.
