Insane live version. To keep the same key as the original song w/ Arnel's powerful voice & then Deen coming in to lead the background vocals, and how they feed off one another. Wow! Great job! Also side note, kudos for Arnel to look that young at 56. I hope I look that good when i get to that age.

That's right. They fixed the in-ear issue just this year, around April, I think. They also addressed the front-of- house mix around that same time. This year tho, the sound quality has greatly improved and because Arnel could hear himself better, his singing has been spot-on. It's too bad the mix on this 2021 video is not up to par with the band's current audio standard.

I saw them live in 2018 and his voice sounded stronger than this, but way flat like most of the time. He was rarely in tune on high notes. However, I've seen quite a few other videos and that other live DVD from 2019 and Arnel usually sounds really good still. This must have been a long day for him. He clearly lets himself get worn out on longer tours and even just big shows, which I can't blame him for necessarily. Narda played on and produced their latest album and was a part of the band before they brought Deen back. Deen needed to have surgery on his back so they eased him back in. I'm not sure if Narda was going to be a full time member of the band or not before Deen came back.
@jjc40582 жыл бұрын
Narada joined the band to play drums as well as to produce the album(s) in 2020, he originally was suppose to be the new drummer but after starting rehearsing for this show in particular, he found difficulty learning all of their catalogs material, and since Deen recently had back surgery and left The Dead Daisies to recover, he was available and was asked to join to help Narada out. Well Narada during the shows after Lollapalooza suffered a heart attack after a show and decided he was not fit for the touring life. So Deen now solely took over.
