I always loved journey from the start from the song Anytime. I never got to see them in concert. Once Steve Perry left the band I wasn't interested in seeing them anymore. He was Journey! They always find singers that sound like him but no one can really replace Steve. Pineda has been with the band for quite a while so I say if he is working out then he should stay. His name is associated with the band at this point. Have they put any new music out with him or is he just singing the Steve Perry tunes? I don't really know. I did buy a CD with that one guy with the tight red pants singing as I liked a new song they put out. Can't think of his name at the moment.

I heard he already had bashers before he even join journey. Thats what affected him is the same people who bash him before he even joins until now wow..past decade later theyre still out there bashing him.
