To me Journey with Steve Perry is just awesome. I grew up with this amazing group along with so many from the era. Great sound from a great group.

I love this song! Steve's vocals are stunning yove got to hear the Raised on Radio Concert version to hear Steve's vocals live is truely on another stratosphere! It'll capture your soul. Thank you for doing this one, loved your enthusiasm, and appreciation for The Voice! Recommendations: "Why Can't This Night go on Forever" "Mother Father" "When You Love A Woman" "It Could of Been You" "Still They Ride" "Wheel In The Sky" "Stone in Love" "Anyway You Want It" "Lights" "Stay With Me Awhile" Thankfully, their playlist are so many, and does not have one bad song they are all phenomenal ❤ Enjoy the ride!

That bass you're hearing is being played by Randy Jackson, who later was a judge on American Idol. "Raised on Radio" also had "Happy to Give" and "Be Good to Yourself"...a couple of songs I think you might enjoy.

Lord,I love this band,..but only with Steve in the lead. His voice is like a soft soothing sweet feeling moving through your soul. So beautiful.

Produced by Steve Perry. They were Journey for the album Raised on Radio 📻. The next year, Journey broke up 💔 . Spinoff bands were Bad English and The Storm. Randy Jackson on bass guitar and backing vocals. Late Larrie Londin on drums 🥁 RIP. Always such a treat to watch your videos! U 100% “get it” on soooo many songs! This old music is the soundtrack to many of us older folks’ lives and oh how I love going down memory lane. There’s ALWAYS music going in my house pretty much every day whether we’re outside or inside. I think I’d die if I couldn’t listen to. On roadtrips my husband and I got it cranked up as loud as it’ll go! Journey ROCKS!

You should check out "Why Can't This Night Go On Forever". I think it's one of Journey's best. Steve's vocals are next level.

You really need to watch the live performance video. This one AND Girl Can’t Help It, also from Raised on Radio. Watching Randy Jackson and Neal Schon ( Randy calls him Rock Dog) is so cool! And Steve working the stage….. great videos!

If you're ever up to something long, I'd recommend reacting to 'Journey Escape Tour Live in Houston 1981'. About an hour and fifteen. One of the greatest concerts of all time. Would make a good livestream, maybe something special for 20k

💜💜💜💜💜 Try "Send Her My Love" (1983), "Any Way You Want It" (1980), "Wheel In The Sky" (1978), "Lights" (1978) and "Be Good To Yourself" (1986). Any song from the 1981 Escape Tour (specifically Houston concert). You won't have Steve Perry in the Journey concert you are going to. Sorry!

Also "Paper Sun" by Traffic a great one from the 60's, very psychedelic, but a goodie, features Steve Winwood singing. You will love this one, trust the 60's for the great music!

Shawn if you want to listen to some really uptempo music from the 60's you just have to listen to John Fred and his Playboys the song is called "Judy in disguise (with glasses)" Please listen to the actual studio recording, you will hear all the instruments together with the brass instruments. You will enjoy this song sort of psychedelic and bubblegum it is soooo good makes you want to dance absolutely fire!!!!

This song is even better live, check it out in the “Escape” concert. Steve with Journey were always better live than in the studio for me, except for “Faithfully” because I thought the video for it was just awesome and the song is even more intense that way. But apart from that, there was simply more dynamic live and they still had fun together

The album was driven by Perry. Music styled like the 50s or 60s music played on his father's radio station; more R&B than a usual Journey album. Ross Valory is not there, fired. Steve Smith is on some songs, fired partway through.

Do reaction to " I'll be Alright Without You " official Video from 1986, as usual they sound even better live. also check out " Only the Young " it was used as the Sound track in the movie " Vision Qwest " it was a pretty good movie. " Only the Young " made it to No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. do the back ground check on " Only the Young " about the kid who was sick in the Hospital and Journey went to visit him in the Hospital very sad story.
