Greatest band ever in their prime. On a side note, it depresses me now thinking that this is an oldie. lol! I was in the 8th grade when this came out.

You should listen to " Why can't this night last forever?" . It's a beautiful song from that tour.

Steve Perry had a terrific set of pipes. The whole band was superb. Kudos for juggling all that you do....family, job and channel....40 years of 12 hour night/day shifts sure has taught me empathy for folks who are on that treadmill. 😳

I did not attend this concert, but was fortunate to see Journey in concert three times. Truly memorable in every way. Years later, during his retirement period, I was blessed to meet Steve Perry twice, briefly, while living in Hanford, CA where he grew up and where his family lives. Both times were at local restaurants, and I have his autograph amongst my special memorabilia. His personality and kindness were every bit as delightful as his singing voice. 😍

I am forever grateful that I was able to see Journey live in concert!! When Journey was on tour for their 1983 Frontiers. They had 3 sold out shows in Houston, Tx, my best friend and I were at the last 2 shows. We sat/stood on the lower level right near the stage and saw EVERYTHING!!!! Even running on and off the stage!! And I was able to see them for this tour, their 'Raised On Radio' in 1986. Didn't have the best seats, however, I was there. And my husband took me to see Steve Perry for his very first solo tour in 1994. Each Journey/Steve Perry concert has been a GREAT dream come true for me. And I'm just forever thankful to have been able to see them! Other great underrated songs you should react to are ......... 'Girl Can't Help It, The Party's Over (studio version), Escape (studio or live in Houston 1981), Who's Cryin' Now (from the same Houston concert), Mother Father (same concert), Message Of Love, Trail By Fire, Winds Of March, Lovin' You Is Easy, Still They Ride (studio), Patiently (Midnight Special), Ask The Lonely, Too Late, Sweet And Simple, Feelin' That Way/Anytime, Any Way You Want It, People And Places, Stone In Love, After The Fall, Chain Reaction, Edge Of The Blade, City Of The Angels, Do You Recall, Just The Same Way' And I think that's about all...lol... You just can't go wrong with some great Classic Journey!!!

Steve just perfect as always and out of this world. That voice, his charisma (and for me absolute sexiness) I love this song and so sweetly on "6.45" Steve and Neal smiled at each other. Randy's pink jacket was an absolute hit. Check out the Live Escape Toru, every song is absolutely great, especially "Mother Father" an incredible vocal performance. This concert was so energetic that it couldn't be topped.

I saw Journey on this tour. Birmingham, AL, November 1986. I’ve been to a lot of concerts but that one is my absolute favorite. Love Steve Perry.❤ By the way, I was in the Journey fan club for several years, so I got to purchase special tickets to be on the floor. It was awesome. Steve’s voice was amazing.

I wasn't born until 2000, but I agree. You can't know about classic rock music and not know about Journey. While I wouldn't call myself a hardcore fan, I am really into them. I think I've heard, maybe, 11 or 12 of their songs before and I either really like or love all of them! I didn't think I'd ever heard this song before until it got to the “I'll be alright without you” part in the chorus. It sounded very familiar to me so I thought I must've heard it before. But, the more of the song I heard, the more unsure of that I became, as none of the rest of the song sounded familiar to me. Regardless of whether or not I've heard it before (and, even if I have, it, clearly, wasn't enough times or recently enough for me to remember it that well), I thought it sounded absolutely amazing and 🔥! Also, I love the pink guitar in the music video so much!😍 I'm so glad this video got to be uploaded to KZbin, even though it had to be late!

I and Journey started on San Francisco 🌉 I grew up on Steve Perry as the lead singer. Produced by Steve Perry. Written by him, Jonathan Cain and Neal Schon. Cain on keyboards and Schon on lead guitar 🎸. Randy Jackson on bass guitar 🎸. This was before he was on American Idol. Great 👍 song. The next year, 1987. Journey broke 💔 up and spinoff into Steve Perry solo, Bad English and The Storm. By 1995, those bands broke 💔 up. Journey reunited 😎 Journey now has Arnel Pineda as the lead singer. Suggested videos 📹: 1 Journey performs Message of Love 💘 2 Bad English performs Straight to Your Heart 3 The Storm performs I've Got a Lot to Learn about Love 4 Arnel Pineda and Morissette Amon sing I Finally Found Someone.

I would rather hear nails on a chalkboard than listen to Arnel trying to sound like Steve Perry. It's never gonna happen.

Steve has a great solo career. The band though.... Neal and Jonathan suing each other throughout the years. Neal is spending the money each night and doesn't want to pay any debts the band owes. Several crew have left because they aren't getting paid now. Just canceled their UK and Ireland tour.

Great song. I remember this from way back listening to it on the radio and dancing to it in the clubs. You know what you're getting with this band. Real authentic music from such talented musicians and vocalists. Vocals are so smooth with fab harmonies, whats not to like. Great choice of music this week Chad. Thank you x
