Look into dynamic stretches before your workout and static stretches after. Best of luck on your journey, I’m rooting for you!🫡✨

I second this. I never felt static stretches help when doing resistance training, however, dynamic stretches helped a lot especially with my popping shoulders.

Dr, Isratel mentions looking forward, you don't need to look up directly, just look forward 👍 And your belly has gotten smaller, when your channel picture came up at the end of your vid when you did the measurements, the side by side is undeniable, you're shrinking!

Another great video, bro. Keep going. I'm here to answer some more of your questions. For squats, you do not look up. Look straight with a slight lean forward. For your heel issue, your stance is not wide enough. Open up a little more with your toes pointed diagonally outward. Like I said yesterday, 3 sets of 5 is plenty. 4 days is fine. I am assuming upper lower split. On that double in a row on. Be sure to do lower day before upper since you need your upper to put on and carry weight for your lower. As for standing on plates during a squat, don't do that. You want your squat to be stable on the ground. You could hurt yourself. If you want to work your calves, do it with a different exercise. For the hack squat, start at 3 sets of 5 at 40 lbs. And lastly, why do you look fat in the leg press but skinny in the hack squat, gravity. Hope this helps.

My cousin was in a similar situation before-he had some extra weight, but now he's in great shape and continues to lose weight. I remember he did strict intermittent fasting and only used the treadmill-no lifting-but he managed to cut over 150+ lbs ! I'll ask him next time I see him what kind of intermittent fasting he did.

Make sure you’re waiting at least 3 min between sets. If you keep it consistently 3 min each time you can more easily measure progress and recovery. Hack squats are tough! Great job man. Form looks fine.

the leg press machine surprised me when I first tried it. It felt so easy to do when I tried different weights, it was only after I realized maybe I should be going for my body weight, and it worked. I tried doing 300 lbs and it was still very doable, but opted not to add anymore thinking I already have enough strength on my legs lifting my own body weight as it is I really liked working specific leg muscles instead like hamstrings calves and glutes on leg day and barbel squat to round it all off with a nice compound movement, but do whatever makes you comfy. That's the way I approach my weight loss journey. (edit), saw that hack squat and here are my thoughts on it, since we're heavy, having to add more weight makes it tremendously harder for us so I stick with lower weights like 25s and as we lose the body weight, we can probably add it to the machine. Coz I started out at 290, with only 10s on the hack squat and now I have 35s and now at 270 so I guess the math is mathing at this point right? [and for anyone who knows better, feel free to correct me, it's really just how I feel about this machine]

5x5 is more of a power lifting split focused on strength training. 3x8 is more of a traditional bodybuidling approach. I'd do whichever one you like doing most. Yeah I think your squat form looks great. 185lbs (a plate and a 25) is not weak bro lol you're doing great. That hackquat is a beast of a movement lol
