It's a pity one of your covered how the death note anime kinda ruined the ending if the manga and L's death

We kinda got caught up on other aspects of the remake, but I gotta say back when I got into Death Note (like 15 years ago ish) L's death destroyed me, the anime isn't the same after he dies, and I do distinctly remember being dissatisfied with how they portrayed Light's death in the ending vs. how intense it was in the manga.
