followed same process (except to latest firmware) and the frsky taranix x9 lite s is just stuck on "binding" and i have a slow blinking green light on the quad

What happen if you dont mod it? Will the XF still work?

Yes it will work without the mod but the latency will be pretty bad so really not much point in upgrading.

Or you know, you buy the X9D plus radio and don't need to worry about modding it. And from what I understand, the mod is just for telemetry not latency stuff but I don't have a q7 so can't say with certainty

I have the full crossfire and it doesn’t have a usb. So how do I plug it into the computer

I know it's 6 months late but the full size unit has both USB and Bluetooth. And I wanna say wifi. I don't have a full size unit but my friend does. I have never even come close to needing more than 250mw that the micro unit outputs, but the beacon or lost drone location deal would be cool.

Do you have any idea why it won’t run the firmware update should I just do the factory reset? I have the agent downloaded and I plug my crossfire and it won’t update

Try either flashing Firmware or put the receiver into recovery mode

The full size unit is easier to use in general. You have a joystick so no need to run Lua scripts plus the Bluetooth connectivity and it still has USB so it works easy as it does for him in this video

Hi, sorry that didn’t work. When I click on Update it just nothing happened. I have the fix now. I had to update the tx fitst, than click in the Agent in the tx tab on Bind, than it bound and updated the rx firmware.

U gotta bind it then it will update the rx to match the tx firmware version

4:36 - whoa whow whoa wait the fuck a minute why didn't you click the bind button at 4:36 in TBS Agent X. That's where I'm trying to do it and it's not working.... green flashing light on the TBS micro... okay... dialog box that says "Binding" with cnacel button... okay... nothing but a red light on the quad... one is steady, one is flashing fast... hating this. Hate to abort, my DJI air unit was cooking scrambled eggs.
