Great game bludgeon! The Sardaukar Legion 1/4 pull and that spontaneous spy satellites showing up was a welcome sight. I think getting the sword master earlier would have just allowed your win to involve less luck. haha

Nice game and good commentary. Very interesting to hear your thoughts while playing! Overall level of play seemed pretty high to me. Is the elo number reset on a new season or were you matched with experienced players based on the results of the season before (having kept an already higher elo)?

Thanks! They haven't explained the details of "ELO" or matchmaking, people are still trying to figure that out. Seems like there is some kind of partial ELO reset, though it isn't really ELO - it's flat +/- points for wins and losses.

An interesting play early might have been to grab Training Drones (like you were considering) and Negotiated Withdrawal... but I do think In The Shadows is a better card and usually the right choice.

It was pretty huge. I did play a Beast game with Training Drones recently, it's a nice Tech for sure.
