You provided a lot of information about "The Monster" without promoting or condemning it. You show us, you tell us and let us decide. Admirable.

Looked like a cold trainride. But a cool destination. I think Bald & Bankrupt visited the "plane" as well.

How do you know where a particular train is headed and it's schedule? Is there an internet source that you use? I can't imagine that you ask the train officials. How did you know that and electric engine would be pulling the train from a given location?

To be precise, "Caspian Seamonster" was a name the americans created, after they had discovered the first Ekranoplan "KM" on their satelite photos. So I think, only the KM, that was even much bigger than the Lun, can be called "Caspian Seamonster"! Nevertheless it's very sad to see this one sitting there and being eroded by the salty wet air, waiting for a "Patriot Park" that will probably never be!😭

i almost could not imagine sitting on a train carrying asbestos... as asbestos has been forbidden since 1993 here... and since 2005 in the whole of the EU. I didn't believe it was still used in other countries... but the US still uses it as does russia and lots of asia... weird world we live in.

Probably not real asbestos, more likely a replacement for asbestos like glass fiber but still referred to as asbestos. Happens often, for example what you get when you buy "benzene" is rarely actual benzene.

I don't know if you have noticed that mate, but every failed project of USSR military is left abandoned, not put for public view such as Ekranoplan and space shuttle Buran, all Russian aviation/marine museums should have both of them for display, but no! Let show only ''Glory projects of Soviet Union'' like Sputnik and MIG-21. Shame be honest.
