Everyone's first dip into the Archives is a treat. I've lead tours to them a few times for new players, mostly just giving them a packing list of 'It might be a good idea, but I'm not your Mom...' and having built an 8km road leading to it. The 'Ugly Inn Side' inn at the end of the highway has seen a fair share of Seraphs go in only to respawn later lighter gear and looking bewildered :D

As a Vintarian Historian, I've pieced together much of the lore via delving in abandoned libraries and labs myself. Jonas Falx was a pretty amazing guy, despite the horrific things he had to do. And the people revered him as a god indeed, especially near the height of the Rot. Might have just been the delirium and insanity which was taking hold though, especially amongst the afflicted.

The lore is super unique! Loved finding little notes about the world falling apart, super spooky

It really shows in your videos how much you love this game and you could practically see you falling in love with the game in real time as you figured out the mechanics! This video is the highlight of my day and its hard to eat my dinner without them so keep up the good work! ps. cannot wait to see you enter the archive!! looking forward to next episode

Yes! It happened! The Resonance Archives! I've been looking forward to this! Thank you for reading my comments and taking heed to them. Now there is a boss in the Resonance Archives, but I will let you figure out how to find it. If you need any help figuring things out or if you are in a tough spot in the Resonance Archives, I am always here in the comments! Also, you should really look into iron plate armor, it's MUCH better than chain armor.

There are two healing items in the game that heal for 7 whole points. One is a sulfur honey linen thing, and the other is alcohol soaked bandage. How to make the alcohol for bandages? You need a fruit press, a barrel, and a distillery (boiler and condenser). You get a bunch of fruit type foods and fill up the press with a bucket below it and get some juice. You put the juice in a barrel to ferment. Then you get the fermented alcohol and distill it *twice* to get Aqua Vitae, which is pure-ish alcohol for bandages. You get 3 liters of aqua vitae (one jug-full) from 60 liters of juice. Which is 3 stacks of berries. The disadvantage of alcohol bandages is that the alcohol evaporates after 2 in-game hours. So you need to carry a Jug full of alcohol to craft them on the spot. Remember to take off your armor before healing!

You could make leather pants and something else. Its honestly hard to freeze if you are wearing all the warm clothes. Hot springs can be useful during temporal storms, but only if they are close to home. Front doors look kinda cool btw ;) Great episode, as always!

Horsetail can be found in wooded areas pretty reliably, anywhere horsetail spawns wolves can spawn too. and vice versa I suppose. the more turns you have from your power supply (windmill) to your tool, the more strain it will put on the system, slowing it down. nothing will break but it will take higher wind speeds to get the same speed. the higher the windmill is in elevation the more consistent the wind, it nearly constantly blows on the top of mountains. That orange stone by the archives is very important later on down the line, I cant quite recall if you came across it yet. Enjoy the Resonance Archives. you can Open your journal with the "j" button if you want to look at books/scrolls you have previously read.

I love this series so much Just FYI, helve hammers can't make most items by default, but they can make plates. So if you wanna speed up your chainmail production, hammer the ingots into plates with the helve hammers, then just take the finished plates and smith them into chainmail. And make some more lanterns too!

I recently found out about the usefulness of plates! Love the versatility:)

If you select the pickaxe icon and then the orange colour to the right of the one you were using it auto fills as "copper", I havent tested it for other colours but it may auto fill and match the colour of the metal you've found

Craft some clutches so you can turn on/off your helve hammers when needed. And like someone else said, you wasted some gears in your configuration, you could make it straighter and it would also work.

Consider taking a cooking pot and a crock or two out on you longer adventures, as well as a long lasting ingredient like veggies or grain. The stack may not be as efficient as a stack of bread but since meals from pots give you a buff that prevents getting hungry for a bit it helps your food last longer- especially if you're wearing armor and have something in the offhand, as the food buff lasts just as long, even if you have extra hunger needs
@TimmyTwoNipples8 ай бұрын
