this song was released 1996. My wife and i married in 1997 (24 years strong now), and this was the song we chose to be our first dance as a married couple. I remember signing softly in her ear along with this. My mom said it was a beautiful moment and she could hear me singing from across the floor. This song always reminds me of my wife. There is so much truth in this one. I had to learn it by myself. I have been married to my high school sweetheart since 1981, so it will be 41 years this May. We got into a nasty fight one night and she left for a little while. While she was gone I closed my eyes and tried to imagine what it would be like without her in my life. You know what I saw? Nothing! A big black, blank screen! That's when I knew I had to change me and how I was living to keep this beautiful women in my life. This was at a time when I was struggling with severe PTSD, I'm a combat Veteran. But through all the crap she had to go through to keep me alive and somewhat sane, she stayed. I think that might be why I listen to Bee Gees "I could not love you more" and Alabama "There's no way" pretty much on a daily basis. Thank you for doing this song. Makes me want to love her more (if that's possible) and makes me want to be a better man.
