Nice to hear your personal outlook on your gardening. This past year was a struggle with critters and insects to the point of giving up. Like your back my aging body has completely changed gardening to elevated planting. I really enjoyed you sharing your life outlook at your future gardening that its OK not to grow "EVERYTHING". My 11th year of gardening was back in 2000. Having just wrapped up year 35 I can honestly say, there is still much to learn. This year was the first time ever I couldnt get carrots to grow. Not sure if it was the seeds or what happened. So I turned that failure into a bush bean crop. Always have a backup plan. You never know how things are gonna grow, or not grow.
